Yeehaw, tactical shooter fans. Riot Games just officially unveiled the Neo Frontier 2.0 bundle, and it is bringing a massive wave of sci-fi Western nostalgia back to the VALORANT storefront.
When the original Neo Frontier skin line dropped back in 2023, it quickly became a fan favorite thanks to its unique transformation gimmick. You start out with weathered wood, antique iron, and classic lever-action reload animations straight out of a spaghetti Western movie. As you upgrade the weapon using Radianite, it morphs into a slick, glowing sci-fi piece of futuristic hardware.
But there was one massive problem with the original drop: it included the Phantom, Sheriff, Marshal, and Odin, completely ignoring the most popular gun in the entire game. Vandal players have been salty about that omission for three whole years, but Riot is finally fixing the mistake.

The highlight of the Neo Frontier 2.0 bundle is undeniably the Vandal. It fills the most glaring hole from the original collection, giving rifle mains the chance to live out their futuristic gunslinger fantasies every time they buy on an eco-turn or a full-buy round.
Riot did not just slap the old Phantom textures onto the Vandal model and call it a day. The new design takes full advantage of the rifle’s longer frame and includes brand-new handling animations. The reload logic leans heavily into magazine manipulation and theatrical weapon flips, giving you that performative rhythm that makes inspecting your gun between rounds so satisfying.
Whether you keep it at base tier for the rustic wooden look or upgrade it to expose the glowing internal electronics, the Vandal delivers the exact aesthetic fans have been begging for since the first bundle.

Gun skins are great, but the real star of the show might be the new melee cosmetic. Instead of giving us another standard knife, sword, or axe, Riot went completely wild and designed a literal lasso.
VALORANT has seen some weird melee weapons over the years, ranging from battle axes and daggers to a full-on frying pan, but pulling out a piece of glowing rope to style on the last enemy standing is a whole new level of flex. To make things even better, the Lasso melee comes equipped with its own custom audio track that plays while you spin it around.
Throwing down a clutch defuse while twirling a neon lasso is guaranteed to trigger maximum emotional damage in the opponent’s Discord call.
The Dual Aesthetic Advantage
Alongside the Vandal and the Lasso, the 2.0 pack rounds out its selection with a Shorty skin, giving close-range ambushers their own sawed-off frontier shotgun. For players who want the complete collection, Riot is also rolling out a massive mega bundle that combines the original 2023 lineup with all the new 2.0 additions.
The whole appeal of this collection remains its double identity. You are essentially getting two skin themes for the price of one. If you want a grounded, mechanical feel with satisfying metallic clicks, you can rock the base levels. If you want neon lasers and futuristic holographic sights, you can push the upgrades all the way.
