A new promotion is coming to mixed martial arts, and former UFC fighters will be the inaugural event’s main attractions.
Guram Kutateladze was once a highly touted prospect in the UFC, having signed with an 11-2 record and wins under banners like Brave CF.
The teammate of Khamzat Chimaev and Ilia Topuria got off to a good start, beating then-future top 10 contender Mateusz Gamrot via split decision.
He lost three of his next four fights, resulting in his release from the UFC. Now back on the regional scene, Kutateladze is set to headline for a brand new organization.

Ex-UFC star Guram Kutateladze set for main event against Jeremy Kennedy in newly created Dubai promotion
Kutateladze had Topuria and Chimaev in his corner at UFC London in March 2025, but he was unable to get the better of Kaue Fernandes.
After a brutal loss to the Brazilian, the ‘Georgian Viking’s’ tenure in the promotion came to an end. But he has already bounced back in a major way.
At ACA 194 last October, Kutateladze won his first fight since being cut from the UFC roster by knocking out Victor Hugo in one round.
After 11 months away from competition, the 34-year-old will enter the main event spotlight at the very first event put on by Vault Fighting League in Dubai.
Georgian reporter Giorgi Kokiashvili shared a fight poster for Kutateladze’s headliner against Jeremy Kennedy at VFL 1 on September 12.

Kennedy is a former UFC, Bellator, and PFL fighter. He went 3-1 in the Octagon, with his only loss coming against Alexander Volkanovski.
He later made his way to Bellator, defeating the likes of Aaron Pico en route to an unsuccessful world title bid against Patricio Pitbull in 2024.
After three straight defeats in the PFL, Kennedy rebounded with consecutive victories in Battlefield Fight League last year.
