Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal have reportedly held talks to sign Real Madrid forward Endrick, as per TEAMtalk.
After being impressed by the 20-year-old’s performances for Palmeiras, Los Blancos decided to purchase him a couple of years ago. However, the youngster has struggled to find his feet in La Liga thus far.
So, he joined Olympique Lyonnais on loan last winter to play regularly and develop his career. He displayed promising performances for Lyon, scoring eight goals and registering as many assists in 21 appearances across all competitions.
As a result, the South American secured his place in Brazil’s World Cup squad but remained on the periphery, failing to start any matches.
Now, TEAMtalk claim that having enjoyed a stellar six months at Groupama Stadium, Endrick was hoping to secure his place in Real Madrid’s starting line-up.
However, following the arrivals of Yan Diomande and Carlos Espí, along with Vinicius Junior’s contract extension, Endrick is fearful of falling down the pecking order.
So, he is ready to leave to play regularly and develop his career, while his representatives and intermediaries have already started exploring options to find a suitable destination for him. Endrick’s camp have been in talks with Real Madrid to find a solution for the exit.
Battle
The report state that Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa and Fulham have all held conversations about Endrick’s current situation.
Chelsea, meanwhile, hold a long-standing interest in the South American and have sounded out about a potential swoop.
However, Real Madrid’s president Florentino Pérez is one of the biggest admirers of the forward and Los Blancos want to let him leave on loan without any buy option.
TEAMtalk claim that Tottenham, Aston Villa and Fulham are ready to accept this structure, but Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United and Chelsea have made it clear that they would only consider a move if a buy option clause is included.
Endrick is valued at around £34m by Transfermarkt and still has a contract until 2030. Therefore, the Spanish giants aren’t in any rush to sell him this summer.
It remains to be seen whether Liverpool, Arsenal or Man Utd will eventually make a formal approach to seal the deal this summer.
