“Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part One” кинонд гардаг дүр Доббигийн булш нь Уэльсийн Пембрукшир дэх Фрешвотер Вест эрэгт байрладаг бөгөөд шүтэн бишрэгчдийн хувьд аялал жуулчлалын чухал цэг болжээ.

Harry Potter fans have reportedly forced a UK energy project to be diverted to protect “Dobby’s grave.” The fictional resting place of the Harry Potter character has been a popular tourist site for fans after it was featured in the film Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part One. It is located on Freshwater West beach in Pembrokeshire.
Harry Potter fans force a multimillion pipeline to divert to save Dobby’s grave
According to a report by The Daily Mail, Harry Potter fans recently rallied against an energy project in the UK to protect the fictional gravesite of the character Dobby.
Simon Ludlam, the former project manager of the £430 million ($580 million) Greenlink interconnector, recently stated that they had to reroute the pipeline after numerous fans complained. The 125-mile cable was initially set to pass through Freshwater West to connect the UK and Ireland for the transfer of solar and wind power. While speaking on the Energy Revolution podcast, Ludlam shared that he had disclosed the plans in a BBC interview that later aired, and he was met with complaints from Harry Potter fans.
He said, “We did the shot, we finished, I went back to London, and they then aired it a couple of weeks later. And we got hundreds of calls, I mean hundreds of calls.”
Ludlam also said that his colleague told him that the situation was “very, very serious,” adding, “We really have to respond to this.” The team reportedly then worked on changing the plans for the pipeline and had to think “exactly how to reroute the cable” so that the project “wouldn’t go anywhere close to Dobby’s grave.” After the pipeline was rerouted, he stated, “A lot of people were very happy about that, and the project is now going [ahead] and Dobby’s happy.”
