Aston Martin just unveiled a trio of DB12 S supercars to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.
Created by the brand’s in-house customization division, Q by Aston Martin, these three one-off vehicles pay tribute to a very important event in the brand’s history.
In 1951, Aston Martin raced three DB2 sports cars at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
And the attention to detail in these three supercars is stunning.

In the early 1950s, Aston used different colors for its Le Mans race cars, and this helped both the pit crew and spectators identify the vehicles at a glance.
Each car carried a British registration plate beginning with ‘VMF’, and each carried a specific color.
The modern tribute trio mirrors these identities.
VMF 63 features Rosso Red grille accents and detailing, VMF 64 is adorned with Speed Yellow accents, and VMF 65 features Ellwood Blue accents.
Specific accents aside, they all share the same Carbon Black exterior and ’75’ fender roundels to mark the Concours anniversary.
The heritage theme continues inside the cabin, where Aston’s Q division has applied contrast stitching to match the car’s specific exterior accent color, alongside embroidered DB2 silhouettes on the front seatbacks.
Obviously, the ’75’ number is also present with custom sill plaques.
What engine powers the iconic trio
Like other ‘commemorative’ models, the customization only concerns the exterior and the interior, but not the powertrain.
The engine is the (AMG-sourced) 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 that most Aston models use.
It’s capable of producing 690 horsepower, giving it a 0-60 time of 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 202 mph.
There is no official MSRP, but the DB12 S generally starts at around $330,000, which means these will likely cost significantly more than that.
But it probably doesn’t matter anyway.
That’s because these limited-edition models and ‘few-offs’ like the cars you see here are almost always pre-sold ahead of the announcement.
So they’re already spoken for.
