John Oliver debuted a shaggy, dark-colored wig for the role. The wig was teased in a preview released August 7. He appears as Salem’s chief water inspector in the show. Devlin arrives at Paulina Price’s door in the preview.
Paulina is played by Jackée Harry. Oliver’s new hairstyle quickly caught viewers’ attention. Fans quickly started sharing hilarious reactions to Oliver’s hairstyle. One fan on X described the look as surprisingly funny. A fan wrote, “john oliver on days of our lives wearing a wig that’s basically just his regular hair is unfortunately an amazing bit.”
