A staggering $15 million license plate has been spotted on a $100,000 Mansory Tesla Cybertruck EV, on what people are calling ‘just another normal day’ in Dubai.

The sighting was posted on LinkedIn by 1rank Digital, which managed to secure footage of the license plate on the truck.

In the footage, we can see the plate itself is incredibly simple: P7, but it happens to be the most expensive plate ever sold.

Paying $15 million for a license plate and putting it on a Mansory Tesla Cybertruck really is the ultimate flex of wealth.

The license plate sighting is just another normal day in Dubai

In the footage, we can see the Mansory Tesla Cybertruck parked casually in Dubai, as you would expect.

At the rear of the truck, we can see the P7 license plate, and it is also present at the front of the truck.

The Guinness World Records state that this is the most expensive license plate ever sold.

In April 2023, it picked up for a whopping $15 million at an auction.

While that is a ludicrous amount of money, plates being sold for millions does happen in Dubai.

Some dub them ‘vanity license plates’, and they typically consist of low- or single-digit combinations.

Yet despite the high price tag, there is extra meaning to these plates.

The license plate sales support charitable initiatives

While $15 million is a wild amount for a license plate, there are positives to this high cost.

According to 1rank Digital, the money from these sales often goes towards charitable initiatives.

For example, in the case of plate P7, the funds supported Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s ‘One Billion Meals’ campaign.

This is a campaign that addresses food security for vulnerable populations.

It isn’t the first time that this plate has been seen on a Dubai-based vehicle either.

Previously, P7 was spotted on a Tesla Model X before it appeared on the Cybertruck.

The plates are assigned to the owner, not a specific vehicle.

That is how they can be sold and reappear on a completely different car or vehicle.

The Mansory Cybertruck adds to the plate’s allure

Factor in the fact that the plate is on a Mansory Tesla Cybertruck, and it just adds to its allure.

This truck in particular is listed as a Cyberbeast, the top-level trim for the EV.

The Mansory package alone adds $100,000 to the price tag of the base Cyberbeast.

Exterior upgrades include the small rear spoilers on either side of the tailgate.

Extremely aggressive bodywork and the extensive use of carbon fibre make this a typical Mansory creation.

Then there are the rims, which adorn what the German tuners call the ‘Mansory Elongation’.

Flexing this version of the Cybertruck alone shows wealth at a whole new level.

But adding in a $15 million license plate? Well, that is the ultimate flex.
