Тоглолтын өдөр FUT баг MOUZ-ийг 2-0 харьцаатай буулган авснаар эхэллээ. Dust2 map дээр нэмэлт цагт 16-13, Ancient map дээр 13-5 харьцаатай ялалт байгуулсан FUT багийн бүх гишүүд өндөр түвшний гүйцэтгэл үзүүлсэн юм.
Дараагийн цувралд Legacy баг Major-ын аварга Falcons-ийг 2-0 харьцаатай хожиж, шуугиан тарилаа. Бразилчууд Mirage дээр 13-7, Dust2 дээр 13-10 харьцаатай ялалт байгуулсан бөгөөд онцлох тоглогч Santino “try” Rigal 26-13 K/D үзүүлэлт болон 1.81 үнэлгээтэйгээр багаа манлайлав.

The third day of the playoffs at the Esports World Cup has come to a close, with the final three quarterfinals going down at the $2 million event in Paris.
The day started with FUT eliminating recent BLAST Bounty winners MOUZ 2-0 as every FUT player put up a solid performance. Legacy then took on the Major champions of Falcons, but made them look weak as they picked up an impressive 2-0 win, replicating their success from the final of CAC 2026. Finally, the titans of Vitality and Spirit fought for the last semifinal spot. Eventually, it was Spirit who emerged victorious.
FUT 2-0 MOUZ 
The first series of the day started on MOUZ’s Dust2 pick, which was a streaky affair. MOUZ started with five in a row before FUT went on a massive 12-1 run to take map point. However, MOUZ were able to come back and get overtime. Once there, FUT dropped only one round en route to a 16-13 win.
FUT picked Ancient and found a much more dominant form. They steamrolled through the first half to take a 10-2 lead before MOUZ got three back at the start of the second half. Still, FUT quickly closed the map 13-5, ending the series.
Legacy 2-0 Falcons
The next series began on Mirage, the pick of Legacy. Though they got the pistol and conversions, the Brazilians had a shaky first half that put them down 5-7. They completely turned it around on the CT-side, going flawless to secure their pick 13-7.
Falcons picked Dust2 and put Legacy down 1-3 after the Brazilians won their third pistol. However, Legacy had a strong rest of the half to take a slight 7-5 lead. After winning their fourth pistol, Legacy got up to 9-5 before Falcons got five in a row. Eventually, Legacy got it together and closed out map 13-10 as AWPer Santino “try” Rigal posted a 26-13 K/D with a 1.81 rating.
Vitality 1-2 Spirit 
The final series of the day began on Spirit’s pick of Anubis. The first half was back and forth as neither team could take full control, leaving the score tied 6-6. Spirit got the first five rounds of the second half, but Vitality began to come back with several clutches. In the end, Spirit were able to avoid overtime with a tight 13-11 win.
Vitality picked Nuke and came out of the gate fast with a four-round run before Spirit got their first. Vitality got up to seven, but Spirit won four more to close the gap as the score went 7-5. Vitality got the second pistol as well, but a back-and-forth half kept things close. Vitality took map point at 12-8, but Spirit brought the game to overtime. It was a close fight, but a team kill from Boris “magixx” Vorobiev helped Vitality take it 16-14.
Mirage was the decider, and Spirit raced out of the gates with a phenomenal performance from Danil “donk” Kryshkovets. He ended the first half with a 20-5 K/D, propelling Spirit to a dominant 9-3 lead. Spirit won the second pistol and went flawless to take Mirage 13-3.
The semifinals for EWC will play out tomorrow at 10:00AM and 12:55PM.
