Тоглолтын хураангуй бичлэгийг АНУ-д Peacock платформ дээр, харин Их Британид BBC-гийн “Match of the Day” нэвтрүүлгээр дамжуулан үзэх боломжтой. Энэ улирлаас эхлэн Sky Sports телевиз дөрвөн тоглолтыг нэгэн зэрэг нэг дэлгэцээр үзэх боломжтой “multiview” шинэ функцийг нэвтрүүлжээ.

Remember Kylian Mbappe and Lionel Messi’s Golden Boot race for the ages? Remember that atmosphere at the Azteca? Remember Vozinha?

Well, you need to get over it. The World Cup is long gone and, 33 days later, the Premier League is back.

That’s right, get ready for bad VAR decisions, perennial questions about when Manchester City’s 115 charges will be resolved, and Chelsea attempting to fit 232 first-team players into an XI.

But if you’re in the United States or the UK, where can you watch Crystal Palace’s bid to finish between 10th and 15th place for the 14th season in a row? And which pundits will be telling us about how interesting that is?

Allow The Athletic to be your guide…

How many matches are being played?

Each of the 20 teams plays 38 matches, so as usual there will be 380 games this year, split across 33 weekends and five midweek match rounds.

This season has started a little later because of the World Cup, and it runs all the way to Sunday, May 30, when every team plays simultaneously for the final round of matches.

Why do so many PL teams have new sponsors?

The busiest period comes around Christmas, with teams currently due to play on December 26, December 30, January 2 and January 6 (before matches are moved for television), a run of four games in 12 days.

Where can I watch the Premier League?

In the U.S., you can watch all 380 Premier League games spread across Peacock, NBC, NBCSN and USA Network.

Peacock is the Premier League’s official streaming service in the U.S. and also offers full replays of all their matches shortly after full time, as well as Spanish-language matches via Telemundo, which saw huge viewing figures during the World Cup.

NBC’s coverage streams on Peacock, but the linear channel for NBC will also have its own exclusive live games dotted throughout the season. This is usually one per weekend in the Saturday 12.30pm ET slot.

Some live Peacock matches are also on NBCSN, or NBCSN Extra on YouTube TV.

This is very different to the UK. Due to the continued 3pm blackout — in which matches aren’t allowed to be screened live so as not to impact in-stadium attendances across the country — you can’t watch every Premier League match on television in the UK. However, 267 of the 380 matches will still be screened.

Most of those — 215 — will be on Sky Sports, via its now traditional Sunday afternoon slots (the prime match being at 4.30pm UK time) as well as Friday and Monday nights and Saturday late afternoon/evenings.

TNT Sports will show 52 games, usually one per week in the Saturday 12.30pm UK slot but the broadcaster also has two full rounds of midweek fixtures in February and March next year.

TNT is available either as a standalone streaming service or is also now available via HBO Max.

All 10 games on the final day of the campaign will be on Sky Sports.

Who are the presenters this season?

In the U.S., NBC Sports’ familiar line-up of Rebecca Lowe, Robbie Earle, Robbie Mustoe and Tim Howard will front their Premier League Live coverage, with the quartet in the UK for the opening weekend.

Co-commentators across coverage in the U.S. read like a who’s who of former Premier League footballers. For example, those lined up this weekend include Lee Dixon, Graeme Le Saux, Michael Bridges, Leon Osman, Matthew Upson, Darren Ambrose, Andy Townsend and Matt Holland.

Commentators will also be familiar to UK audiences, with Peter Drury and Jon Champion as their leading figures. They also use Seb Hutchinson, Steve Wilson, Jim Proudfoot and Daniel Mann among others.

In the UK, Sky Sports’ roster of pundits and co-commentators is once again headed up by Gary Neville, Jamie Carragher and Roy Keane, with Micah Richards, Jamie Redknapp, Daniel Sturridge and Izzy Christiansen. Dave Jones, Kelly Cates and Mark Chapman are among their presenters, and Drury is the lead commentator. Ian Wright was in the studio for their season opener last night (Friday), Arsenal versus Coventry City.

Steven Gerrard has appeared sporadically on TNT in recent years, but the out-of-work manager is stepping up to front their coverage this season in an expanded role.

It’s a familiar line-up on TNT with Darren Fletcher and Sam Matterface their main commentators, plus pundits/co-commentators including Joe Cole, Ally McCoist, Karen Carney, Owen Hargreaves, Joleon Lescott, Fara Williams, Steve McManaman, Lucy Ward, Glenn Hoddle, Jen Beattie and Martin Keown.

What about highlights?

Clips and highlights are all packaged up on NBC/Peacock in the U.S.

Match of the Day on the BBC remains the preeminent highlights show in the UK, although it will have a different feel again this year, with new pundits of a Tottenham Hotspur flavour.

Ex-manager Thomas Frank and former players Robbie Keane and Toby Alderweireld have been added to their line-up, as well as ex-Manchester United and Aston Villa player Ashley Young, who retired from playing in the summer.

Highlights of around eight minutes from each match, without the punditry, will also be available on the BBC website on Saturdays and Sundays from around 8pm.

Are there any new features for this year?

In the UK, Sky Sports has introduced a multiview feature this season, allowing customers to watch four live Sky Sports events simultaneously on one screen.

TNT Sports is showing its Premier League build-up show EKO live and free on YouTube from 11am, when it has the early Saturday match.
