PFL-ийн торон рингэнд Магомед Магомедовын мөрийг оруулахаар хийсэн Ислам Махачевын үйлдэл мэргэжилтнүүдийн анхаарлыг татлаа.

Islam Makhachev may be the best fighter in the world, but he is no doctor.
Just a week removed from his historic title defense against Ian Machado Garry at UFC 330, Islam Makhachev has been put immediately back into action.
This time, though, his role was in the corner of his longtime teammate Magomed Magomedov, who made an appearance at PFL Tampa.
The Russian veteran had the task of welcoming former UFC bantamweight Daniel Marcos to the Smartcage for his first fight in the promotion.
Doctor slams Makhachev for his attempt at shoulder relocation
When Marcos was cut from the UFC earlier this year, it came as quite the shock considering his 5-1-1 record in the promotion.
Despite that, he almost immediately signed with the PFL to continue his career in the sport, attempting to continue his impressive run.
Magomedov was deemed as quite a tough debut out for the Peruvian, however, he showed the UFC and Dana White what they were missing with his impressive striking display.
After impressively managing to evade Magomedov’s wrestling throughout, it seemed as though Marcos was going to sail to a unanimous decision win, but things immediately changed.
However, at the end of round two, Marcos forced an injury to Magomedov’s shoulder, resulting in a dislocation.
In the interval between rounds, Makhachev attempted to pop his teammate’s shoulder back into place and it seemed as though he did so successfully.
But just seconds into the third round starting, he threw in the towel as Magomedov’s shoulder continued to cause him issues.
And now, the pound-for-pound number one fighter on the planet has been slammed for his attempt at repairing his teammates injury.
“This should be the go to reference for everything you do to NOT be successful in putting a shoulder back,” reputable sports doctor Brian Sutterer wrote as he reacted on X.
Despite the doctors reaction to Makhachev’s attempt, the UFC champion did the correct thing by pulling his defenseless fighter out of the fight, which is something not many coaches would have done.
