ComingSoon can exclusively reveal the trailer for Ghost Light. The upcoming movie is described as a crime thriller mystery that unfolds in courtrooms and the dim corridors of a historic theatre. Distributed by One Tree Entertainment, the thriller flick will be available for rent or purchase on all major digital platforms from September 29, 2026.
The official synopsis reads, “Actress Marion Neal finds herself mired in a lawsuit over the rights to her playhouse. As strange occurrences begin to take place, the hidden truth emerges, revealing an intricate web of interwoven conspiracies and villainous agendas.”

What do we see in the Ghost Light trailer?
The trailer opens on a stage play at the Necromancy Theater, but it’s cut short by a scream. We get a first look at Lisa Blake Richards as Marion Neal, who claims to be in charge of the theater after her husband’s death. Neal is shown entangled in a bitter lawsuit over the rights to the playhouse.
As legal tensions rise, strange and unexplained occurrences begin to spread through the playhouse. Besides fighting the legal battle, Neal is forced to confront the possibility that her late husband is trying to reach out to her. What begins as a fight for ownership spirals into a descent through interwoven conspiracies, hidden agendas, and the ghostly remnants of those now past.
Ghost Light is written and directed by Amir Faress. According to the official press release, Faress’ inspiration for the thriller stems from years spent standing at witness stands as an interpreter. The director added, “I’ve learned about the horrors of testifying in court, especially when the stakes are high: losing the right to drive, losing a house, a business, or even worse, the custody of one’s children. Every court proceeding is inherently suspenseful. With the added themes of betrayal and gaslighting, Ghost Light is a modern throwback to the suspense classics of the 40s and 50s.”
Apart from Richards, the mystery thriller also stars Cindy Dolenc, Maria Margot, Laur Allen, and Brian Foyster. Ghost Light can be watched on popular TVOD platforms such as Apple TV, Prime Video, Fandango, Google Play, and YouTube Movies.
