Paula Patton returns to streaming with the long-awaited second season of her legal drama. Sacrifice Season 2 premiered on Paramount+ today, nearly five years after the first season premiered in November 2021.
The new season premieres with two episodes, continuing Daniella Hernandez’s story. Paramount+ unveiled the season’s trailer and key art on September 16. The 10-episode season will then continue with new episodes released weekly.
The first season followed Daniella as she sought the truth about the car accident that killed her parents while navigating the lives of her wealthy clients. Chris Stokes created the series, which stars Patton alongside Erica Ash, Juan Antonio, Veronika Bozeman, and Altonio Jackson.

The season follows her efforts to protect her family and rebuild Blackgammon Records as new threats emerge. Meanwhile, the trailer shows her dealing with the aftermath of a devastating nightclub fire.
The returning cast includes Erica Ash as Beverly Rucker and Juan Antonio as Dom Mayfield. Beverly’s mayoral campaign during a recall election adds another major storyline. Meanwhile, Dom faces difficulties as he seeks legitimacy and respectability.
Patton also serves as an executive producer on Season 2. The late Kevin Arkadie serves as an executive producer and showrunner, with Ruth Ferrera serving as co-executive producer. Marcus Guillory is also credited as a supervising producer, while Edward Allen Bernero and Felicia Henderson serve as consulting producers.
Season 2 also features Clifton Powell, Nicyoe Banks, Michael Toland, James Trevena, and Nelson Bonilla alongside Patton and the returning cast.
Sacrifice Season 2 is currently streaming on Paramount+.
