Fans looking to revisit one of NBC’s most recognizable family dramas will soon have another streaming home for all six seasons. The well-known series led by Justin Hartley alongside Milo Ventimiglia, Mandy Moore, Sterling K. Brown and Chrissy Metz is moving to Paramount+.
This Is Us debuts on Paramount+ in October
This Is Us arrives on Paramount+ on Oct. 5, according to When to Stream. Created by Dan Fogelman, the drama ran from 2016 through 2022 and featured a large ensemble that also included Susan Kelechi Watson, Chris Sullivan, Jon Huertas and Griffin Dunne. Ken Olin served as the most frequent director, helming 32 episodes, while several other directors contributed throughout the six-season run.
Across six seasons, the series jumps around the timeline to show how its characters change over the years. That nonlinear approach gives the story room to explore grief, race and mental health without losing its family-centered core.
The show also picked up major recognition beyond its core cast. Sterling K. Brown won the 2017 Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series for playing Randall Pearson, while Mandy Moore collected several Emmy nominations for her performance as Rebecca Pearson. Across its run, This Is Us received many Emmy nominations. The NBC drama enjoyed a substantial awards footprint before its sixth and final season aired in 2022.
The show also left a strong mark with critics and audiences. Rotten Tomatoes gives the complete series a 94% Tomatometer and an 82% Popcornmeter. Its season scores also remain high across the board with Season 5 and Season 6 scoring 100%. IMDb currently places This Is Us at 8.7/10 from more than 176,000 ratings. In addition, the series is also among the top-rated television titles.
For viewers who already know the Pearson family and want another run through the full series, the move keeps every season together. Paramount+ will make Seasons 1-6 available Oct. 5.
