Minka Kelly and Imagine Dragons frontman Dan Reynolds have parted ways after four years together. Introduced by a mutual friend, they grew close over phone calls and a shared love for creative work. Romance rumors started in November 2022 with a dinner at Cafe Stella in Los Angeles, followed by a hand-holding sighting.

After four years together and just months after marking a significant milestone as a couple, Minka Kelly and Dan Reynolds have reportedly parted ways.
According to a source close to the pair who spoke to PEOPLE, the breakup took place recently.
The split comes unexpected considering that in August, the “Champagne Problems” actress posted a playful “my morning routine” video on Instagram featuring Reynolds helping with her skincare off-camera.
Kelly also marked the pop rock singer’s birthday in July with a loving Instagram shoutout. The caption read, “Thank you for making ordinary days feel extraordinary, for making me laugh until I can’t breathe, and for loving so deeply and so freely. Celebrating you is one of my favorite things to do.”
Before that, the two appeared to be going strong when she shared a carousel from their family getaway to Disneyland with the Imagine Dragons founder and his kids. In July 2024, Reynolds told the outlet that his daughter Arrow, son Valentine, and twins Gia and Coco “love” Kelly.
The “Demons” hitmaker had shared, “We view it as kind of bonuses to the family: more people to love, more people to help. We’ve just been really careful with that and slow with navigating how to bring Minka into that conversation.”
When it comes to their creative collaborations, the duo supported each other’s work over the years. Dan Reynolds made a surprise cameo in Minka Kelly’s Netflix series “Ransom Canyon” in April 2025. The former couple later made their official red carpet debut as a couple at the MOCA Gala in Los Angeles on May 30.
PEOPLE has reached out to their representatives for comment on the breakup, but it has not received a response.
