Тэрбээр түр гал зогсоохоор төлөвлөх бүх үе шатанд оролцож, агаарын зургуудыг нягталж, зам болон эмнэлэгт хүрэх боломжийг үнэлсэн гэжээ. АНУ, Украйн, ОХУ-ын албаныхны гурван талт уулзалт арваннэгдүгээр сарын 10–11-нд Абу-Дабид товлогдсон байна.

Кремль Трамп энхийн хүчин чармайлтаа үргэлжлүүлнэ гэж найдаж буйгаа илэрхийлж, арваннэгдүгээр сарын 18–19-нд Шэньжэнь хотод болох АПЕК-ийн уулзалтын үеэр Путин, Трамп, БНХАУ-ын дарга Ши Жиньпин нарын дээд хэмжээний уулзалтыг бэлтгэж байгааг мэдэгджээ.

US first lady Melania Trump brought Russian and Ukrainian representatives together at the White House on Thursday, calling on both sides to choose “humanity over war” ahead of talks next week in Abu Dhabi.
Kirill Dmitriev, a special envoy for Russian President Vladimir Putin, attended the rare face-to-face gathering with Ukrainian officials. The event marked a six-day ceasefire that Melania Trump helped negotiate in the Russian-controlled city of Oleshky, which expired on Sunday.
It came as the Trump administration is stepping up efforts to bring an end to Russia’s war in Ukraine, which started when Russian troops invaded in early 2022. A trilateral meeting involving officials from the US, Ukraine, and Russia is set for November 10-11 in Abu Dhabi.
“We have chosen humanity over war,” the first lady stated at the event. “We must use the courage we brought to Oleshky to find common ground through a shared concern for the suffering of innocent people,” she added.
Melania Trump said she was “involved in every stage of the planning” for the short-term ceasefire, which included reviewing aerial photos and evaluating road and hospital access.
President Trump, who did not attend, praised his wife’s role in the Oleshky ceasefire, remarking to reporters in October that “she does better than our professionals.”
RUSSIAN ENVOY SET TO MEET US OFFICIALS
Dmitriev was expected to meet US officials while in Washington, according to two people familiar with his plans.
Ukrainian lawmaker David Arakhamia and human rights ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets also attended the gathering. They encouraged the Slovenian-born Melania Trump to maintain her peace efforts.
Both delegations presented the first lady with gifts of appreciation.
Russia’s Dmitriev presented her with a drawing of pink hearts by an Oleshky girl, stating the child “chose to live with her family in Russia,” alluding to the dispute over displaced Ukrainian children in Russia. “I love Melania,” the artwork stated.
The Ukrainian delegation presented the first lady with a state honor “for your brave heart, for saving our people, and for returning back Ukrainian children.”
She provided the visiting delegates with letters addressed to Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
DEMOCRATS TAKE MAJORITY IN CONGRESS
The meeting was the first face-to-face contact between Russian and US officials following Tuesday’s midterm elections, where Democrats won control of Congress from Republicans, dealing a blow to President Trump.
The incoming Democratic majority starting in January is expected to push for increased aid to Ukraine and scrutinize the Republican president’s decisions to arrange a diesel deal with Russia and ease certain Moscow sanctions. Trump has heightened his criticism of Zelensky in recent weeks.
The Kremlin noted it hopes Trump will persist with his peace efforts despite the Republican Party’s loss.
It also stated preparations were under way for a summit between Putin, Trump, and Chinese President Xi Jinping during the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation meeting November 18 to 19 in Shenzhen, China.
Dmitriev previously met Trump’s special envoy, Steve Witkoff, at the White House in 2025. Trump’s predecessor, Joe Biden, did not invite Russian representatives to the White House.
Dmitriev has assisted in facilitating the release of American detainees in Russia, reuniting Ukrainian children with their families, and supporting the humanitarian effort in Oleshky.
