Amazon Prime Video’s new TV and movie releases this week (June 22 to June 28, 2026) include a biographical film featuring Jacob Elordi.
Sofia Coppola wrote, produced, and directed Priscilla based on the 1985 memoir Elvis and Me by Priscilla Presley. It follows teenage Priscilla Beaulieu meeting superstar Elvis Presley at a party. Elvis is drawn to her, and the two begin a complex relationship. The film opened to positive reviews, currently holding a 6.4/10 score on IMDb and 84% on Rotten Tomatoes. Moreover, it grossed $33 million worldwide.
Elordi plays Elvis, while Cailee Spaeny takes on the role of the titular lead. The supporting cast includes Ari Cohen, Rodrigo Fernandez-Stoll, and Dagmara Domińczyk, among others.
Furthermore, several sports fixtures are slated to stream live on Amazon Prime Video this week. Baseball, basketball, and soccer games are part of the schedule.
The New York Yankees will square off against the Detroit Tigers in the MLB. In the WNBA, the Los Angeles Sparks will travel to the Coca-Cola Coliseum in Canada to take on the Toronto Tempo.
