A major star is back with a bang on General Hospital. Finola Hughes‘ Anna Devane was last seen in a psychiatric facility following a traumatic experience due to Cullum. As per teasers, she will be seen meeting with doctors.

Finola Hughes’ return date on General Hospital revealed
Finola Hughes will return as Anna Devane on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, on General Hospital.
Anna’s life turned upside down after she was kidnapped by Cullum, Sidwell, and Pascal. Cullum wanted to stop her from interfering in the progress of his fusion project with Sidwell, which was originally Cesar Faison’s plan. He ended up giving her hallucinogenic drugs, and eventually Anna was hospitalized in France. She tried escaping but was eventually recaptured and put in a higher-security facility.
However, Willow helped Anna move to a less restrictive place. According to the teasers, Anna will return on Wednesday’s episode and will be meeting the doctors. In Soap Opera Digest‘s summer preview for GH, head writers Elizabeth Korte and Chris Van Etten commented on Anna’s comeback. “Anna has the goods on Cassius but struggles to get the word out while institutionalized in France,” they said.
The duo continued, “We’ll begin to see the long-term effects of her imprisonment and gaslighting at Cullum’s hands. Any happy reunions with friends and family are colored by counsel from a less-than-reliable source.” They further explained, “We’ll see echoes of Anna’s earliest incarnation as she returns to Port Charles with deadly intentions.”
Korte and Etten also said Valentin and Carly’s future is “at the mercy of the WSB… as well as the multitude of people back in Port Charles who can’t stand Valentin… and one who can – Anna Devane.”
Moreover, they shared that Anna’s comeback in Port Charles means Rocco (Finn Carr) “isn’t yet out of the woods for shooting Cullum.” Anna will also pose tough questions to Britt, and Jason Morgan would have “big implications” for her.
