The Casino Royale star, who is part of the upcoming third season of the Netflix series, has reportedly been rushed to the hospital after sustaining a leg injury on set. She recently joined the cast of the Addams Family spinoff as Aunt Ophelia Frump.
Entertainment Weekly reported that Eva Green was rushed to the hospital and was “recovering well,” though no further details of the injury have been revealed.
This was really nasty,” a production source told The Sun. “Eva sustained an injury and was clearly in pain, and producers were taking no chances. Medics were called, and Eva went to hospital. She underwent treatment and is now recovering well.”
Green was recently added to the series as Ophelia Frump, the sister of Morticia Addams. Ahead of the injury, she expressed her excitement at joining the acclaimed franchise. “I’m thrilled to join the woefully twisted world of Wednesday as Aunt Ophelia,” the 45-year-old said after the casting announcement. “This show is such a deliciously dark and witty world; I can’t wait to bring my own touch of cuckoo-ness to the Addams family”(via Tudum).
