The top of the 2026 NBA Draft class showed up and showed out in Las Vegas. AJ Dybantsa and Darryn Peterson headlined on Thursday and the very next night, Cameron Boozer and Caleb Wilson brought their Tobacco Road rivalry to the pros in a game that came down to the final possession.

With Dybantsa and Wilson already looking capped after two games, Boozer playing four games across Salt Lake City and Vegas, and Peterson getting rested on a back-to-back, there’s a real chance we won’t see the top of this class again until training camp. So here’s where the top four stand following Monday’s action in Vegas.

Wilson opened with the best scoring debut in Las Vegas Summer League history — 35 points, five rebounds, two steals and three blocks — then topped the shot-blocking output Monday, going for 19 points, eight rebounds, two assists, two steals and five blocks in a loss to Utah. That’s four steals and eight blocks combined through two Vegas games, an elite profile of stocks that’s the real separator here. The most unexpected development has been Wilson’s 3-point shooting. He attempted 19 3s across two games, hitting 10. That’s huge for his fantasy value.

Wilson led UNC in points, rebounds, steals and blocks last season, and Vegas confirmed the multi-category translation is real. The turnovers are a flag (six in the opener, four in the second one) and his free-throw shooting needs work. You have to remember that the Bulls don’t have a true PG on their Summer League roster, which is forcing Wilson to create more than he normally would. As for free throws, he hit them at 71% at UNC. Not bad, not great. But he’s clearly working on his shot, as evidenced by his quick addition of the 3-ball to his arsenal. He’s my No. 1, specifically because he touches the most category boxes, and I think he could leap Bulls SF Matas Buzelis as the second option already, behind Josh Giddey.

Boozer has been the model of consistency all summer. He opened Salt Lake City with 15 points on 7-of-11 shooting, followed with an 18-point game hitting 4-of-5 from 3, punctuated his Vegas debut with 23 points in a win over Chicago, then added 21 points, eight rebounds, three assists and three steals in Monday’s loss to Dallas. Through four games, Boozers is averaging 19.3 points, 6.3 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 1.2 steals, 2.0 3s and 3.0 turnovers per game. The efficiency — 55% from the field, 47% from three, and 77% from the line — along with the counting stats, is where he excels in fantasy.

Boozer is a safe, high-floor fantasy asset because of his elite efficiency, but it’s the playmaking and steals that will raise his ceiling. As Vegas showed, he’ll get creation opportunities as a hub thanks to his high basketball IQ, processing and ability to make the right reads at just 18 years old. He’s going to start and has the skillset to be the top rookie in 9-cat formats. The Grizzlies’ rebuilding situation gives him ideal conditions to produce since they overhauled their roster with no true primary option. Boozer’s well-rounded game at his position makes him a strong fantasy option; Wilson simply has the louder ceiling.

The No. 1 overall pick delivered from the jump, tying the Summer League record for points by a debuting No. 1 pick with 27 points, seven rebounds, two assists two steals and one block, then following up with 23 points and seven rebounds, two assists, three steals and two blocks in a win over Sacramento on Sunday. He looked unguardable in the sense that he got downhill with ease, drew arguably more fouls than anyone in Vegas and looked every bit the part of a future star. The shot-making wasn’t there (13-33 FG), but the ability to find other ways to impact the game is why Dybantsa is special. Seeing him lock in defensively was great, especially knowing he’ll be able to jump passing lanes and be a disruptor with Alex Sarr and Anthony Davis on the backline.

The Wizards decided on Tuesday to Dybantsa shut down for the remainder of the summer league. He gave us the alpha-scorer profile that made him the top pick, and I think he’ll comfortably fit into the starting lineup. I think he’ll be better for points leagues than for 9-cat, because, initially, most of his fantasy value will come from scoring and rebounding. If the defense carries over from Summer League, well, that could change. Competing for shots with Trae Young, AD and Sarr may also pose a challenge out the gate.

Peterson has been a bucket all summer, scoring at least 20 points in all four Summer League appearances (including Salt Lake City), averaging 25 points, 3.0 rebounds, 5.5 assists, 2.5 3s, 1.0 steals, 1.2 blocks, and 5.0 turnovers in 27.1 minutes per game. BUCKETS.

What stood out most? Seeing him get extended on-ball reps in both Salt Lake City and Vegas. At Kansas, his role was primarily off-ball, so this was our first real look at his ability as a ball-handler and creator since high school. I attribute the high volume of turnovers (two games with 8 turnovers) to the usage in trying to feel out a new role. The Jazz clearly see him as more than just a scoring threat — they’re giving him the keys to create, and he proved he can deliver as both a walking bucket and a playmaker. Defensively, his activity and blocks jumped out as well, showing energy on both ends.

For fantasy managers, it’s important to note that his Summer League usage and volume won’t fully translate once he’s sharing the floor with Keyonte George, Lauri Markkanen and Jaren Jackson Jr. The Jazz have plenty of depth, so while DP will be productive, his ceiling is capped by the environment. He’s the most talented pure scorer in the group, but that doesn’t mean he’ll be the best fantasy option at the moment.

Wilson’s stat-stuffing floor, Boozer’s efficiency, Dybantsa’s scoring pedigree and Peterson’s shot-making all have paths to fantasy relevance — this is about early separation, not final verdicts, especially with Summer League reps for this group possibly already in the books. Check back for the full dynasty rankings soon.
