World Cup 2026 halftime show: Who is playing?
Pop megastar Shakira is partly responsible for the official World Cup 2026 song, Dai Dai, and will be joined by colossally popular Nigerian singer Burna Boy, her collaborator on the record.
This is the first time a half-time show has taken place during a World Cup final and the ceremony has been arranged by English band and familiar American stadium fillers Coldplay.
BTS will be back at the MetLife Stadium in August for two dates as part of their US tour. “They’ll be part of a moment that reaches far beyond the pitch,” half-time show producers Global Citizen promised of the performance.
Earlier this week, BTS’ new single, Normal, became the most-streamed K-Pop music video in a single day on the platform.
