Дестин Дэниел Креттон одоогоор “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” кино болон “Naruto” киноны зураг авалт дээр төвлөрч байгаа юм.

Wonder Man Season 2‘s cancellation has sparked concerns about MCU shows on Disney+. Recently, the studio canceled the series’ second installment, despite positive reviews and an Emmy Award for the lead. This has enraged Marvel fans who took to X to express their concerns over the trajectory of MCU shows.
User @McBDirect wrote, “For both Marvel and Star Wars, there are currently 0 upcoming live-action Disney+ series that haven’t already been filmed. There is VisionQuest, Ahsoka Season 2, and Daredevil BA Season 3. Nothing else is confirmed or even rumored to be upcoming past March 2027.”
Some users even wrote about “Marvel phasing out of the Disney+ shows.” After the success of the Infinity War saga, the studio began releasing shows like WandaVision, She-Hulk, Loki, Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Secret Invasion, etc. However, not all of the shows were a major hit.
As user @nekonoani stated, “It seems that Marvel is phasing out the Disney+ shows. Maybe because bad shows like Secret Invasion have given the audience a wrong impression that all of them are bad. It’s really unfortunate because there are some really great Marvel shows there.”
Similarly, user @chrisbegley added, “Can’t help but feel like Marvel at least is pivoting away from the Disney+ TV show model. I feel like that’s going to be their spot for maybe a few limited series here and special presentations moving forward. And of course, finishing up legacy shows.”
What else is known about Wonder Man Season 2’s cancellation?
Word of the fan-favorite show’s season 2 cancellation was shocking to many. The news came after the studio greenlit the new season. However, it is reported that a writer’s room never opened up for Wonder Man Season 2. Moreover, the two writers, Andrew Guest and Destin Daniel Cretton, have carried on with other projects.
Guest is currently filming Uncanny Valley and executive producing Community: The Move. Cretton’s new movie, Spider-Man: Brand New Day, has theaters this weekend, and he is currently directing the Naruto live-action.
The lead of Wonder Man and Emmy-winning Yahya Abdul-Mateen II recentlyreleased a statementon the show’s cancellation. That said, although the second season of the Disney+ series won’t be in production, the actor is rumored to reprise his role in upcoming Marvel projects, including Avengers: Secret Wars.
