Mariusz Wach didn’t wait around very long before stepping back into action following his recent fight against Tyson Fury.
Just a few weeks ago, Tyson Fury once again made a comeback to boxing when he took on Mariusz Wach in a tune-up fight in Thailand.
After seven rounds, Wach quit on his stool, handing ‘The Gypsy King’ a win before his potential all-British clash against Anthony Joshua.
But although Fury likely won’t return again for a long while, it didn’t take long before Wach was back in some level of competition, this time though, a far more bizarre matchup.

Immediately after his fight against ‘The Gypsy King’, it was revealed that Wach would take part in a bizarre 6v1 handicap match.
This past Saturday in Poland, the 48-year-old took on the ‘Gypsy Team’, which consisted of six fighters of different weights.
The fight took place under a K1 ruleset but with small MMA gloves. Despite the Gypsy Team being made up of six fighters, not all of them could attack Wach at once.
Only two fighters were allowed to fight Wach at once, but the team was able to make substitutions at any moment during the fight, with the other four fighters waiting in the wings at the other side of the cage.
And things didn’t go very well for ‘Wiking’ Wach at all, as immediately in the fight, he was swarmed upon by two fighters who relentlessly threw strikes at him until they got tired, subbing in the next two.
For the entirety of the fight, Wach spent it with his back against the cage, attempting to defend himself but not having much success.
The 48-year-old was cut open underneath his eye, and after three rounds of getting brutally beaten, the referee stopped the fight with 9 seconds left of the third round.
This wasn’t the first time Wach had been involved in a handicap fight, as he once knocked out three influencers in one fight.
