Fresh set photos from Paris reveal Bradley Cooper and Monica Barbaro shooting the upcoming Ocean’s Eleven prequel.Splash Newsshared the images on August 18, showing both actors at work in the French capital. Cooper was seen wearing a headset behind the camera, while Barbaro sported a striking blue-and-white costume.
Cooper writes, directs and stars in the untitled prequel to George Clooney’s heist franchise. He replaced Lee Isaac Chung, who departed the project earlier this year. Margot Robbie joins Cooper as a co-lead and has been attached to the film since 2022.
The story centers on Danny Ocean’s parents pulling off a heist at the 1963 Monaco Grand Prix. Robbie told audiences at CinemaCon in April that the film will show Danny Ocean’s parents “in their prime.”The Hollywood Reporterconfirmed in July that Vicky Krieps, George MacKay, Jack Holden, Lauren Ridloff, Omar Sy, Wagner Moura and Josh Gad round out the ensemble cast.
Moura will portray a villain in the heist thriller, according to the same report. Cooper directs his fourth film with this project, following A Star Is Born, Maestro and Is This Thing On?. He also wrote and starred in all three of those earlier films.
Production on the prequel began roughly 10 months after Clooney shared his plans for Ocean’s Fourteen. The veteran actor said in October 2025 that much of the original cast aims to reunite by the end of 2026. “There was something about the idea that we’re too old to do what we used to do, but we’re still smart enough to know how to get away with something, that just appeals to me,” Clooney toldVariety. The untitled Ocean’s Eleven prequel arrives in theaters on June 25, 2027.
