Bugatti has taken the covers off an absolutely stunning La Maison Pur Sang Veyron, 20 years after we first saw the supercar.
Even though it has been more than 20 years since it was introduced, the Bugatti Veyron still holds a special place in the hearts of many.
That love goes far beyond just an admiration for the car, as the owners of this Bugatti have shown us.
When they asked Bugatti to restore their beloved supercar, Bugatti decided to take it one step further, delivering something truly special.
The newly-restored Veyron is something special
The supercar has been through the La Maison Pur Sang heritage and restoration program.
However, this is far more than a simple restoration to original condition.
The French manufacturer has worked to bring the Veyron up to date and give it a few modern touches.
It even borrowed some from the more recent Chiron and Tourbillon hypercars.
The most noticeable of these are the Rouge Rembrandt and Petrol Blue colors on the exterior.
Neither of these was available during the Veyron’s production run.
The Rouge Rembrandt is associated with the Tourbillon, while you can find the Petrol Blue on the Chiron.
Both look utterly incredible on this beautifully restored Veyron.
That’s only the beginning.
Bugatti Veyron restoration
The wheel has been upsized, even if that is a more subtle change from the manufacturer.
Bugatti has reused the same Machiavelli wheel design as before.
New mesh elements provide a 3D look for the front, side, and rear air intakes, while the cabin has also had a refresh.
The seats are adorned in Magnolia leather, with Mocassin stitching across the steering wheel and gear selector.
With it being 20 years since the supercar first came out, a special ’20 Years of Veyron’ emblem has been installed across the seats.
Even the center console was given a new look.
Finished in Côte de Genève, the console’s new pattern was inspired by watchmaking.
Thankfully, it still feels quite analogue in the car, with no massive modern touchscreen installed.
This is an incredibly tasteful and elegant restoration, befitting of one of the finest supercars ever made.
