Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift have a new family addition. The couple’s newest addition is a female Samoyed named Wendy, who has been with them for over a year. The NFL star revealed her name on the latest episode of New Heights, his podcast with his brother Jason Kelce.
Wendy’s reveal comes nearly two months after Kelce and Swift got married at Madison Square Garden on July 3, 2026. The newlyweds kept their dog away from the public eye until she appeared with Kelce in Tommy Hilfiger’s Fall 2026 campaign. Wendy now joins Swift’s three cats, Meredith Grey, Olivia Benson, and Benjamin Button, bringing their total to four pets.
How Wendy went from a secret pet to the star of a Tommy Hilfiger campaign
Wendy made her public debut alongside Kelce in Tommy Hilfiger’s Fall 2026 campaign. The campaign was filmed at New York City’s Plaza Hotel and also features Gigi Hadid, Frances Tiafoe, and Carmelo Anthony. However, Wendy quickly became one of the most talked-about parts of the campaign.
On his podcast, Kelce talked about the campaign and teased that Wendy is “officially a picture dog.” Before the shoot, he discussed the idea of featuring Wendy in the campaign with Swift. Kelce said he decided to “talk it over with Tay” before bringing up the idea. Swift, according to Kelce, was “all for it.”
The football star also explained why Wendy was a natural fit for the campaign. “It’s kind of crazy how perfect she looks in the Tommy Hilfiger world,” Kelce said on New Heights. He added that Wendy “matches the brand and the shoot,” making it easy for her to settle into the photoshoot and have fun. Kelce joked, “But yeah, Wendy’s a model. She’s a model dog.”
The couple had already been caring for Wendy for quite some time. Kelce revealed, “Little ’ol Wendy’s a little over a year old now.” He added, “We’ve had her for quite a while. Trying to keep it under wraps.”
Kelce previously praised Wendy in an interview with Vogue about the campaign. NFL star said, “She lights up my day,” adding that she “crushed it” during the shoot. He also revealed that the photos featuring Wendy are some of his favorite shots from the campaign.
