Gorilla Grodd is getting a surprisingly casual look in The People v. Gorilla Grodd. New set photos show the DCU character wearing jorts while filming the upcoming series. The images have quickly become one of the funniest looks at the project so far.
Home of DCU shared the photos on X, offering another glimpse at the bizarre world of the upcoming series. The HBO Max show follows a true-crime mockumentary format. The story will focus on Grodd and the legal case surrounding him, while also bringing Jimmy Olsen into the investigation.
The series may take a comedic approach to the DC character. Several production photos have already offered some unusual glimpses of the project. Grodd appears in various human settings, suggesting that the series will explore more than his traditional role as a supervillain.

Earlier set photos showed Grodd at Metropolis University, wearing a white shirt, sweater vest, and gray pants.
