Harrison Chase‘s departure from General Hospital recently had fans concerned. The latest episode featured Josh Swickard’s Chase moving out. His storyline sparked questions about whether he is leaving.
Is Chase really leaving General Hospital?
The September 16 episode brought plenty of drama. However, fans mainly focused on Chase’s latest storyline. His decision to move out caused some confusion. Chase announced that he was leaving the house.
He was moving out of the Quartermaine estate. This left Brook Lynn completely heartbroken by his decision. As Chase packed his things, Lynn begged. She even offered to leave the mansion herself. However, Chase felt their broken trust was bigger.
He believed her family was causing additional problems. Brook Lynn then brought up Chase’s own past. She reminded him about his previous lies, too. However, Chase brought up Brook Lynn’s betrayal.
He mentioned her framing Willow, despite her promise of honesty. This made their emotional argument even more difficult. Brook Lynn was then hit with another revelation. Chase had spoken with Alexis about legal separation, and he was considering taking the next step.
Brook Lynn managed to convince Chase to wait. She wanted him to decide about their marriage. She also invited him back to see Phoebe. After Chase eventually left the house, Brook Lynn cried. The emotional scene left fans questioning Swickard’s future.
However, Chase is not leaving General Hospital. His character is simply moving out of the mansion. The storyline does not mean Swickard is exiting. Chase remains part of the ongoing General Hospital story.
Elsewhere, the episode brought plenty of drama. Nina was arrested over Brennan’s disappearance, while Anna encouraged Valentin to pursue Carly. Charlotte created a risky plan involving Drew, and Ava worried about Brennan’s body. However, Chase’s storyline caught fans’ attention.
For Chase, however, the situation is quite simple. He is only moving out of the house. Josh Swickard is not leaving General Hospital.
