Arsenal are aiming to maintain their perfect start to their Premier League campaign when they travel to face Brighton and Hove Albion.
Mikel Arteta’s side currently sit top if the division as they continue the defence of their Premier League title.
The Gunners can move three points clear of Manchester City at the top of the division, with Enzo Maresca’s side not playing until Sunday; however, they can also break an insane 123-year record.

Arteta’s side have begun their season perfectly across all competitions, as they progressed in the Carabao Cup midweek with victory over Ipswich Town, secured three points in their opening Champions League match against Napoli, and won the first four games of their Premier League campaign.
While it is a hotly contested subject among football fans, the Gunners have already collected silverware this season as they lifted the Community Shield after they beat Man City at Wembley Stadium.
This means that they have won seven from seven at the start of this campaign, and they could make this eight with a victory over the Seagulls.
Should they achieve this, it means they will have equalled their record from their 1903 campaign, in which they won their opening eight games across all competitions.
Arsenal and their fans will be confident that they can achieve this piece of history as they secured all three points away to Brighton last season.
However, they will be well aware of the fantastic start to the campaign that the Seagulls have made and will not take their challenge lightly.

No Arsenal fan will remember the club achieving this feat, while the oldest living person, Ethel Caterham who is 117 years old, was not even born when the club last achieved this.
It must be noted that the Gunners had a different name when they achieved this, they were the Woolwich Arsenal and they played their football at Manor Ground, located in South East London.
The club won their opening eight games of that Second Division campaign, which would be vital as they finished runners-up to Preston North End.
Arsenal won 21 of their 34 fixtures that campaign, drawing a further seven as they collected 49 points, only missing out on the title by a point.
