TV on the Radio celebrated the 20th anniversary of their 2006 albumReturn to Cookie Mountain with a special performance of “Wolf Like Me” onJimmy Kimmel Live! in their native Brooklyn on Monday night.
Kimmel is in the midst of a week of New York City shows, with episodes being taped from the Brooklyn Academy of Music’s Howard Gilman Opera House. Following guest appearances from Pete Davidson and NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani, TV on the Radio took the stage for a fuzzy, urgent rendition of “Wolf Like Me.” Two decades may have passed, but frontman Tunde Adebimpe has retained his signature yelp, and the band has lost none of its intensity. The song has also received renewed attention thanks to its placement in this summer’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day; still, as their performance makes clear, “Wolf Like Me” has always been this catchy and electric. TV on the Radio have been back in the action over the last couple of years, completing a lengthy slate of tour dates and festival appearances in 2025.
