The Orlando Magic are trying to make attending an NBA game significantly more affordable.
Ahead of the 2026-27 season, Orlando has introduced a series of new and expanded cost-saving options for fans at Kia Center, covering everything from tickets and food to merchandise and transportation. The franchise says the goal is to keep the live experience accessible even as interest in the team continues to grow.
At the center of the initiative is the new Monthly Steals Program, which will make $20 tickets available for every Magic home game. The offers will be released on the first day of each month to fans subscribed to the team’s text alerts, with quantities limited and seats assigned based on availability.
The Magic are also expanding community-based ticket programs. Complimentary tickets will be available through the Jr. Magic and Honor Roll programs, while Orange County Public Schools employees and eligible OneBlood donors can receive discounted offers. Group ticket packages can also provide savings depending on the game and seating location.
Once fans are inside Kia Center, Orlando is attacking another major source of game-day expense: concessions.
A new Fan Favorites Value Menu will offer selected food and drinks between $2 and $7 at designated locations in Sections 115 and 218. The pricing includes $2 bottled water, $3 hot dogs and $7 12-ounce beers, along with lower-cost options such as popcorn, nachos, pretzel bites, cookies, chips and soda.
Merchandise is also part of the affordability push. The Magic Authentics team shop will feature a rotating “item of the game” starting at $15, while weekly promotions will include $15 hats or T-shirts. Orlando will also continue selling its Eighty9 Collection, an in-house private-label apparel line designed as a more affordable alternative to traditional team merchandise.
Even transportation is included. The Magic are continuing their partnership with SunRail, allowing ticket holders to ride the train for free to and from games on applicable game nights by showing their ticket. The service includes 17 stations throughout Central Florida and provides access near Kia Center.
Magic president of business operations Charlie Freeman said affordability has remained a priority for the organization and that ownership wanted the team’s on-court growth to be matched by a commitment to keeping the arena experience within reach for local families.
For NBA fans accustomed to rising ticket prices, expensive arena food and costly merchandise, Orlando’s approach stands out. A $20 ticket, a $3 hot dog, a $7 beer and a free train ride will not make every night at an NBA arena cheap, but the Magic are giving fans far more low-cost options than the typical modern game-day experience.
