Fantasy Premier League managers can finally relax after Thomas Tuchel gave an injury update on a 19.4% owned player.
It’s now been 12 days the last Premier League fixture and while fantasy football managers are understandably taking some time away from stressing about their teams, some high-owned players are potentially causing headaches ahead of Gameweek Six.
While on international duty several big names have suffered injuries, but thankfully an update from England boss Tuchel has revealed that Arsenal’s Ezri Konsa should be available for the club’s next fixture.

Thomas Tuchel issues Ezri Konsa injury update ahead of FPL return
After starting England’s Nations League opener against World Cup winners Spain, Konsa did not feature last time out for the clean sheet win over Czechia.
The Arsenal defender’s lack of minutes against Czechia immediately raised alarm bells for the 19.4% of FPL managers who currently have the Englishman in their squads, making Konsa the fifth-highest owned defender in the game.
Priced at just £4.6million, Konsa has rocketed in popularity following his move to Arsenal over the summer, particularly with upcoming fixtures of LEE (H), NFO (A) and EVE (H).
But all managers who currently own Konsa will be happy to know that England boss Tuchel has confirmed that the defender is completely fine and could start against Croatia on Saturday having taken part in the group training session at the home of Croatian club HNK Rijeka on Friday.
“It seems that Ezri Konsa is back. He did the full training today and this is of course a lot of hope for tomorrow, because he is a key player for us,” Tuchel said ahead of the match.
So far this season, Konsa has scored 12 points across four appearances, three of which were starts, as he fills in for the injured William Saliba.
With many managers considering playing their Wildcard chip, allowing them to make unlimited transfers for free, following the end of the international break, we can expect Konsa’s ownership to continue to rocket ahead of the Gameweek Six deadline.

FPL managers dealt Ezri Konsa blow despite positive injury news
But it’s not all good news for FPL managers with Konsa in their teams, as his place in Arsenal’s starting lineup may not be secure for as long as we might have expected.
That’s because Saliba is nearing a return from the back injury that has sidelined him since his return from the World Cup this summer.
The Arsenal talisman lasted only 30 minutes of France’s semi-final exit at the hands of Spain and has not been seen on the pitch since.
But, according to French outlet L’Equipe, Saliba is targeting a return as soon as November if he continues on the trajectory of his recovery this far suffers no further setbacks.
This means that the Frenchman could be back as soon as Gameweek 9 when the Gunners travel to Anfield to face Liverpool, giving Konsa owners just three more matches with the Englishman being a nailed starter.
However, the report adds that Saliba’s November comeback hinges on how his body will react as he accelerates his training, and it could yet be longer until his return as he will not do so until he’s back to 100%.
