LEGO-ийн худалдаанаас гарах багцуудын жагсаалт: 2026 оны аравдугаар сарын шинэчлэл

LEGO is discontinuing additional sets later this year, from franchises such as Star Wars, Harry Potter and Marvel.

That means the next few months will be your only opportunity to buy them if you’re a collector, or want to get ahead of the curve for Christmas. With retailers like Amazon promoting major sales and Black Friday around the corner now’s the perfect time to consider what’s out there, and how long it’ll last.

At the time of writing (9 October) here are 10 sets to grab before they’re gone for good, as prices could well escalate when only second-hand market items remain. Given how these items will be relatively low stock as well, there’s even more incentive to act fast.

What changed in LEGO’s retiring soon list this month?

A grand total of 333 sets are currently listed on LEGO’s Retiring Soon page as of October 2026, spanning several brands.

Popular IPs like Star Wars and Harry Potter are losing an abundance of sets, and the more creative LEGO Ideas and Creative range is also losing some must-have products.

The 10 best LEGO sets retiring soon to buy before they’re gone

Based on the above, here are GAMINGbible’s picks for the best expiring LEGO sets to grab before they’re discontinued.

Mecha Team Leader – 77078

The Fortnite Mecha Team Leader set is utterly iconic, and one of the best Fortnite LEGO creations available. It usually retails for £209.99, but is currently £178.49 on Amazon through the sales, which is an excellent deal.

It’s 2503 pieces and there still seems to be a good amount of stock left. However, with it discontinuing by the end of the year and more sales coming up that stock could get bought up fast.

We’d recommend it to any Fortnite fan, especially since Epic Games’ battle-royale isn’t going anywhere anytime soon, and Mecha Team Leader could return in a future update or collaboration, meaning this set might see increased popularity in the next few years.

Millennium Falcon – 75192

Star Wars LEGO never goes out of fashion, but the £734.99, 7541 piece Millenium Falcon set is going out of print later this year.

We’d recommend this as the ultimate LEGO Star Wars set. One that shows off the most iconic ship in the entire franchise and comes with a wide-variety of minifigures depicting your favourite characters.

It’s currently being sold for its RRP at most retailers, but might see a reduction in the upcoming Black Friday sale. Be warned though, as Amazon lists it as a top-seller so if the price does come down expect sets to be snapped up quickly.

Stargazing with Celeste – 77053

The 78 piece Animal Crossing Stargazing with Celeste set won’t see a massive price-hike on the second-hand market, but it will be a shame when this set isn’t available anymore.

For Animal Crossing fans it’s an adorable and affordable gift for upcoming birthdays and Christmas, listed for only £8.99. It also seems to be popular enough to be on back order through LEGO’s own store. It’s currently out-of-stock on Amazon too, but will likely get one final restock before it’s taken away for good.

Creative Houses: Seasons of Fun – 77057

If you’re in the market for a more substantial Animal Crossing set, Creative Houses: Seasons of Fun will be for you.

With 814 pieces it includes two houses for £79.99, which can be combined with other sets in the Animal Crossing range to create your own town. Now’s a great time to add this to your collection as LEGO is currently offering it at the discounted price of £47.99, 40% off. That’s actually better than Amazon’s current discounted price of £65.99.

Sonic: Speedster Lightning – 77117

The entire Sonic The Hedgehog line is being discontinued as of 2026 and there’s likely no plans to bring it back at a later date.

While there are many sets to choose from you can’t go wrong with the 126 piece Sonic: Speeder Lightning set. It’s the blue blur driving the vehicle he used in Sonic Racing: Crossworlds, and only costs £8.99.

It’d be a great gift for the holiday season and won’t take up as much room as the other, lesser sets in the wider Sonic The Hedgehog range.

The Burrow – Collectors’ Edition – 76437

Since the new Harry Potter series is coming in December you can expect Harry Potter LEGO sets to see a boost in popularity when fans return to Hogwarts.

Before prices get too crazy however, consider the 2405 piece Burrow – Collector’s Edition. It depicts the famous home of the Weasley family and doesn’t scrimp on the scale or detail.

This impressive set is currently on back order at £219.99, and has proven to be immensely hard to find, even at major retailers like Amazon. While we’ll probably see another Burrows LEGO set in the future, it likely won’t be anywhere near as complex or gorgeous as this set.

Woodland Mansion Fighting Ring – 21272

You can own a piece of history with the Minecraft Woodland Mansion Fighting Ring set, which is based on the viral Minecraft Movie “Chicken jockey!” moment that sent movie-goers into a frenzy.

The LEGO set probably won’t have the same effect, but it’s still a fun gift idea retailing at £44.99, or £25.99 on Amazon via discount.

Blathers’s Museum Collection – 77056

Back to Animal Crossing with the Blathers’s Museum Collection. It’s a gorgeous 543 piece set that depicts one of the best parts in any Animal Crossing game; the museum.

It’s complete with a Blathers minifigure and some of the fossils found in the game, making it a must-have set for any fan of the series. It’s currently £74.99, but Amazon is selling it cheaper at £59.99.

The Dark Falcon – 75389

If you’re looking for a cheaper alternative to the Millenium Falcon set from earlier, the Star Wars Dark Falcon set might be worth considering.

It’s significantly cheaper at £159.99 with 1579 pieces, and because it’s based off the zany spin-off LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy it features some bizarro world characters like Darth Jar Jar.

The set is on back order on the LEGO store, but you’ll find it on Amazon for £119 right now, which is a very good deal.

Book Nook: Hogwarts™ Express – 76450

Last, but not least, we have the Book Nook: Hogwarts™ Express. This collector’s item costs £89.99 for 832 pieces and looks fantastic on a shelf.

If the full-scale Hogwarts Express set was too big and too pricey for your taste, this set is a more cost-effective option, and you’ll save even more with Amazon which has it listed for £76.19.

When do LEGO sets retire and disappear from sale

LEGO sets displaying a Retiring Soon badges are typically items that have had their production stopped. Any remaining stock will be all LEGO has left so when they’re gone, they’re gone.

The exact date of discontinuation can vary, as some sets may sell out quicker than planned. This means you should never take 31 December as the soft deadline for a product being discontinued, as you may miss out much earlier.

Some products listed on the LEGO store may say Back Order, meaning you can pre-order remaining sets for delivery at a later date.

In short, LEGO stock is almost always in flux and just because the company has decided the date in which it’ll not longer be able to produce sets, it doesn’t mean it has any control over how popular those sets are. Major IPs like Star Wars tend to sell out quicker, so it ultimately depends on what series you’re after.

Do retired LEGO sets come back?

Retired LEGO sets very rarely come back into stock after they’ve been discontinued. If anything, an existing set may be recycled into something new later down the line.

For example the LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts Castle set has had a few iterations and configurations.

Sometimes a set may be discontinued, but because it’s tied to a big-name brand a new version could be released at a later date, though it’s rarely the same product.

Do retired LEGO sets increase in value?

Yes, high end retired LEGO sets almost always increase in value on the second-hand market, especially larger sets with more pieces and a link to an established IP.

There are exceptions to the rule of course like the more generic sets and those that target younger age demographics, but usually you’ll find IPs like Star Wars, Harry Potter and Marvel listed for above-retail price after a set has been discontinued.

Sometimes even the mini-figures alone can be worth hundreds depending on how many were initially made.
