Gamescom Asia x Thailand Game Show 2026 has announced four additional pavilions, bringing its total to 20 from 12 markets across Asia, Europe, and North America.
Newly announced pavilions include Indonesia (Ministry of Creative Economy), Japan (JETRO), Malaysia (Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation), and the US (US Embassy Bangkok).
These join the already established pavilions from Austria, Germany, the Philippines, South Korea, Spain, and host nation Thailand.
South Korea will bring six delegations led by KOCCA and regional agencies from Busan, Daejeon, and Jeonnam. Additional delegations will come from Japan (CANTEEN and MIXI Global Investments), China (Gamirror Games), and Taiwan (Taipei Computer Association).
Overall, this year’s Gamescom Asia x Thailand Game Show will host exhibitors from 29 countries and regions, described as “the most international line-up in the show’s history.”
“National pavilions only get backing when there is a clear business case. For the German games industry, Gamescom Asia x Thailand Game Show is exactly that,” said Game managing director Felix Falk.
“This is where East meets West in games. For Asian developers, it is the most direct route to international partners. For Western studios, it is the front door to some of the world’s fastest-growing games markets.”
Thai Games Association president Kittipong Prucksa-aroon added: “As representatives of the host nation’s association, we look forward to bringing the region together at Gamescom Asia x Thailand Game Show, together with other major ASEAN country pavilions from Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines.
“With that, Gamescom Asia x Thailand Game Show has truly become the regional meeting point for Southeast Asia’s games industry. There is no other place where Southeast Asia’s leading games markets come together at this scale, under one roof, alongside the world’s major gaming nations.
Prucksa-aroon concluded: “For developers, publishers, investors and players, that makes Bangkok the place to be and see where Southeast Asian gaming is heading next.”
This year’s event takes place from October 29 to November 1 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre (QSNCC).
As previously announced, Gamescom Asia x Thailand Game Show’s exhibitor lineup includes Capcom, Bandai Namco, and The Pokémon Company, as well as Nintendo and PlayStation represented by partners.
Additional exhibitors include 4Divinity, Elementa, Gryphline, Kuro Games, Razer, AMD, Lenovo, and others.
The business area will be open from October 29 to October 30, exclusively to games industry professionals and media.
It will feature a conference with more than 80 speakers from 27 countries, headlined by John Romero with a keynote entitled “Why We Still Make Games”.
