ОХУ-аас Сьерра-Леон улсад суугаа Элчин сайд Андрей Столяровын мэдэгдснээр, тус улсын Засгийн газрын тэргүүлэх чиглэл болох эрчим хүч, хүнсний аюулгүй байдлыг хангах ажилд Оросын технологи, туршлага чухал хувь нэмэр оруулах боломжтой ажээ. Энэхүү хамтын ажиллагаа нь хоёр улсын худалдаа, эдийн засгийн харилцааг өргөжүүлэх гол цэг болно гэж талууд үзэж байна.
ОХУ нь тулгарч буй сорилтуудыг даван туулахад шаардлагатай дэвшилтэт технологи, мэргэжлийн ур чадвар, арвин туршлагатай гэдгийг Элчин сайд онцоллоо. Энэхүү асуудлыг аравдугаар сарын 28-29-нд Москва хотноо болох “Орос-Африк” дээд хэмжээний уулзалтын хүрээнд хэлэлцэхээр төлөвлөж байна.

“One of the priorities of the Sierra Leonean government is to ensure the country’s energy and food security. We believe that these very areas could become important growth points for bilateral trade and economic cooperation,” Stolyarov said ahead of the Russia-Africa summit. Russia has the necessary technologies, competencies and experience that could help Sierra Leone to address emerging challenges, the ambassador added. The third Russia-Africa summit will be held in Moscow on October 28-29.
