Peacock no longer moving forward with its Hostel TV series. King Ghidorah confirmed to have all three heads and both tails in Godzilla Minus Zero. David Cronenberg struggles to find financing for his latest project…again. And we also have one confirmed fatality in Exorcist: Martyrs. “The whole world is a homicide victim, Father. Would a God who is good invent something like that? Plainly speaking, it’s a lousy idea. It’s not popular. It’s not a winner.” There you go, blaming Morning Spoilers!
Bond 26
According to a new rumor from Roger Friedman at Showbiz411 (who was the first to break Daniel Craig’s Casino Royale role in 2005), Callum Turner has been cast as Amazon’s James Bond.
Scream 8
Neve Campbell confirmed to the Associated Press she’s once again set to return as Sidney Prescott in Scream 8.
Scream 8; that’s in the pipeline as well. You know I can’t tell you anything about Scream 8. I’ll be in it.
Consumed
In conversation with the Italian news outlet Quotidiano Nazionale, David Cronenberg revealed he’s struggling to secure funding for his planned film adaptation of his 2014 novel, Consumed.
When I find the funding. I wrote the screenplay for a film based on my first novel , Consumed, which was also translated into Italian as Divorati, but it’s very difficult to make independent films right now.
It’s been like this since the pandemic, because of Netflix, because of streaming. If you’re not connected to the platforms, you struggle. People are in chaos; they don’t know exactly what audience they’ll be targeting.

Hostel: The Series
According to Bloody-Disgusting, Peacock has passed on its planned television series based on Eli Roth’s Hostel franchise.
Carrie
Meanwhile, Carrie White actress Summer H. Howell told Bloody-Disgusting she hopes the character gets to see the world in season two.
I think she ends this series off in a really dark, dark place, but at least with a little excitement to be out in the world. And I think we just, it would be cool if we could see that, see her go on an adventure, experience things.
Percy Jackson and the Olympians
Finally, Disney+ has released a trailer for Percy Jackson and the Olympians‘ upcoming third season premiering this November 20.
