Jeremy London has said he’s feeling “blessed” and doing “great” after sparking concern for his wellbeing on social media with a troubling post.
The Mallrats and Party of Five actor, who turns 54 today, wrote in a since-deleted post on X Thursday that his “boss is going through some kind of mental crisis and I may be losing my job and home.”
He added: “If anyone has a job and home for me out there, please let me know. I love working a real job on top of acting. I’m a good person. Why does this keep happening to me?? I’m not ok.”
That tweet was picked up by publications including People, but London subsequently took down his post and said fans shouldn’t worry about him.
“Guys… I have a condo in Florida,” he wrote. “People mag out here making me look homeless… I was just in shock from by boss’ behavior and didn’t want to have to go back to Florida. Jesus, they really have nothing else to report on.”
In another post he wrote: “You guys are amazing. Trust me… I’m doing GREAT! This will end up being such a blessing, getting away from that creep and back to my son and my art. I even have other potential job prospects already, so I see all of this as a blessing. My attorneys will handle the rest… I’m also shooting a movie soon.”
He added: “Being a celebrity of any kind is so stupid. Our tweets should not be news.”
The concern for London’s wellbeing came after the actor had previously been open about his struggles with drugs and alcohol.
Back in 2010, he claimed he had been kidnapped by a group of men in Palm Springs who forced him to spend 12 hours drinking alcohol and taking drugs. His mother and brother publicly questioned his account, and he subsequently attempted to have restraining orders taken out against them.

Late that year, London appeared on reality series Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew. In 2012, he was charged with spousal batteryafter an incident with his then wife, and in 2018 he was arrested on domestic violence charges.
On X, London said he is now trying to put those troubles in the past. “I’m in such a good mood,” he wrote. “I get to see my son and hug my brother today. Blessings always come in such weird ways but I always know the universe has my back. I love you guys! Have a blessed day!”
