Арсеналын домогт тоглогч Тьерри Анри өөрийнх нь тоглож байсан баг Аваргуудын лигийн финалд тулалдах Парисын Сен-Жермен (ПСЖ) клубын түвшинд хараахан хүрээгүй байгааг онцоллоо. Микел Артетагийн удирдсан “Их буучид” ирэх тавдугаар сарын 30-нд Будапешт хотноо ПСЖ-тэй аваргын төлөө өрсөлдөхөөр шалгараад байгаа юм.
ПСЖ өнгөрсөн лхагва гарагт “Бавари Мюнхен”-тэй 1-1-ээр тэнцэж, хоёр тоглолтын нийлбэр дүнгээр 6-5-аар ялалт байгуулан финалд шалгарсан. Харин “Арсенал” баг “Атлетико Мадрид”-ыг нийлбэр дүнгээр 2-1-ээр буулган авснаар клубынхээ түүхэн дэх хоёр дахь финалдаа шалгараад байна.
Тьерри Анри 2006 онд “Арсенал”-ын бүрэлдэхүүнд “Барселона”-тай аваргын төлөө тоглож байсан туршлагадаа үндэслэн, энэ удаагийн өрсөлдөгч болох ПСЖ-г асар хүчирхэг баг гэдгийг санууллаа. Тэрбээр багийнхаа хамгаалалтын зохион байгуулалтыг сайшаасан боловч Парисын багийн туршлага, довтолгооны аюултай тоглолт нь финалд хүнд сорилт болно гэж үзэж байна. Тиймээс “Арсенал” өрсөлдөгчтэйгөө ижил түвшинд хүрээгүй гэдгээ ухамсарлаж, илүү даруухан, анхааралтай хандах хэрэгтэй гэдгийг зөвлөжээ.
Анри 2009 онд “Барселона” багт байхдаа Аваргуудын лигийн цомыг өргөж байсан бөгөөд одоогийн “Арсенал”-ын залуу тоглогчдыг өөрийнх нь амжилтыг давж, финалд зоригтой тоглохыг уриаллаа. Багийн тоглолт тогтвортой байгааг тэрбээр тэмдэглэсэн ч аваргын цомыг авахад хувь тоглогчдын ур чадвар болон сэтгэл зүйн бэлтгэл хамгийн чухал болохыг онцлон хэлсэн байна.

Arsenal legend Thierry Henry conceded the Gunners are not on the same level as their Champions League final opponents Paris Saint-Germain.
Mikel Arteta’s men will contest the final against the holders on May 30 in Budapest, PSG having booked their spot with a 1-1 draw against Bayern Munich on Wednesday, which secured a 6-5 aggregate triumph.
Arsenal progressed to only the second Champions League final in their history by edging past Atletico Madrid 2-1 on aggregate.
The North London club will be underdogs for the Puskas Arena showpiece, PSG having thrashed Inter Milan 5-0 in last year’s final and showcased their devastating attacking quality in beating Bayern 5-4 in a remarkable first leg of their semi-final.
Henry: Arsenal not on PSG’s level
Henry, who featured in Arsenal’s only other final appearance in 2006, in which they suffered a 2-1 defeat to Barcelona, believes it is important this year’s vintage accept their position against Luis Enrique’s side.
“We’re not in a position to pick and choose. We’re not at the level of those guys yet so you’ve got to be humble with it,” Henry told CBS Sports.
“Hopefully we go there and be brave but we have to beat and battle against the champions so it won’t be easy, we know that.
“I’m so happy that we’re in the final. We’ll see where we get against that team because that’s an outstanding team. You’ve got to stay in your lane…It’s going to be difficult. We didn’t concede a lot of goals, that counts for something, but Paris Saint-Germain have the experience of knowing what it is to win it.”
Henry, who later won the Champions League with Barca in 2009, added: “I woke up with a smile, they are about to do something that I couldn’t do myself.
“You want your team to win. I didn’t experience it as a player, the second thing I can experience it as is a fan. Hopefully it is going to happen.
“We’ve been pretty resilient, difficult to score against. We don’t over-create but when we do create, we end up putting the ball in the net.”
