This guy gave his Dodge Challenger a Sonic the Hedgehog wrap and the result is absolutely hilarious.
First of all, we need to say bravo to whoever created the wrap because it’s really nicely done from a technical standpoint.
But second of all and more to the point, we have to give kudos to whoever thought about it – shall we say – conceptually.
Because the result is just perfect.
This Dodge Challenger owner just created the best wrap we’ve ever seen
Somebody created a genius Sonic the Hedgehog wrap and applied it to his Dodge Challenger in such a way that it makes it look like the wheels spinning are Sonic’s legs running.
Visually, it looks just perfect, but it’s the idea that truly deserves praise.
The video was posted to Instagram by an aftermarket specialist who goes by mu_94mu, and this wasn’t this first creation.
He created an identical wrap for a white Dodge Challenger, and he also made a similar wrap with Road Runner – as in the Looney Tunes character – for a yellow Chevy Camaro.
We had a look at his Instagram page, and we also found a variety of other cool wraps with pop culture references.
Spiderman, the Jigsaw, Batman, several Japanese animes and mangas – you name it, it’s there.
Is wrapping your car actually useful?

Car wrapping is a topic that many people tend to be on the fence about.
Some people don’t really like it in principle, while others do it routinely and occasionally overdo it with politically charged wraps.
But aside from that and the cosmetic effect, which at the end of the day is entirely subjective, wrapping your car is generally a good idea for several reasons.
A high-quality vinyl wrap acts as a sacrificial barrier for your factory paint.
Daily driving exposes your vehicle to a long list of hazards: gravel, UV rays, bird droppings, road salt if you live in colder climates, just to name a few.

The wrap absorbs most of that daily wear and tear.
Wrapping also protects against minor accidental damage caused by you or other drivers.
While it depends on the vehicle, most cars end up with tiny scratches around the door handles caused by fingernails or keys.

Then there is the issue of door dings; when people park next to you, they aren’t always careful when opening their doors.
A good wrap pretty much solves all of those problems, and it does you a favor when and if you want to sell your car because it helps preserve the value of your car.
If you decide to sell your car, unblemished paintwork is one of the first things that stand out to the would-be buyer.
At that point, you can just remove the wrap and the paint will be virtually spotless.
That can often make a huge difference.

Not long ago, we learned about a Cybertruck owner who received an incredibly generous offer for her car when she tried selling it through CarMax.
The fact that the EV had been protected by a wrap helped: she received a $66,000 offer for her truck.
