This American man wasn’t expecting to be overshadowed when he parked his Tesla Cybertruck up in Las Vegas, but two American trucks dwarfed him with ease.
In the US, some drivers pride themselves on having the biggest truck around.
And Cybertruck owners are no different.
So you can imagine the shock of this man when he was outflanked by not one, but two trucks.
The Cybertruck is large and in charge
In recent years, few trucks have a cultural impact quite like the Tesla Cybertruck.
Whether you love or hate it – and there are plenty who hate it – it leaves an impression.
People have utilized it for farm work and for powering their homes.
They’re effectively the truck equivalent of a Swiss army knife, so it’s no wonder that many people feel pride in owning them.
But when it comes to size, the Cybertruck can be outflanked.
A man called Victor Paulo found out that out for himself.
Two Ford trucks were on-hand to upstage this Tesla driver
Paulo parked his Cybertruck up in a Las Vegas parking lot in 2025, which was empty when he pulled up.
Feeling a little apprehensive about leaving his Tesla alone, he continuously checked his alarm system on the app while he was away from the vehicle.

When he returned to check on the Cybertruck, he was left stunned by what he saw – two Ford F-150 trucks on either side of his vehicle.
“Felt like two big brothers looking after me,” Paulo wrote, as he shared an image to Facebook.
It takes a lot for Tesla’s trucks to be outsized, as it measures out at nearly 19 feet long, 6 feet 8 inches wide, and 5 feet 8 inches tall.

Paulo’s reading of the picture as a sibling relationship is certainly a more positive way of viewing the relationship between the Tesla truck and the Ford F-150s.
There’s long been something of a rivalry there.
One Colorado man made waves when he declared moving from the F-150 to the Cybertuck was like ‘going from the Victorian era to the future’.
But with 2025 sales figure showing that F-150 Lightning outsold the Cybertruck, it’s not a clear-cut victory in either’s favor.

And with countless tugs-of-war and drag racescirculating the internet, it’s certainly not a rivalry that’s going away any time soon.
So for now, we’ll accept this nice parking lot image as a sign of what could be.
