Tesla Cybertruck:

This YouTuber smashed a Tesla Cybertruck into the side of a Ford F-150 at 110mph to see what would happen, and let’s just say, one came out of the altercation looking far better than the other.
WhistlinDiesel is a man who always likes to take things up a notch.
While he’s sometimes setting things on fire or dropping things from a helicopter, this time around he was crashing cars into each other.
Things were about to get ugly, but which truck would come out looking worse for wear?
The Ford F-150 and the Tesla Cybertruck are undoubtedly rivals
There are a lot of iconic rivalries out there, whether it’s Pepsi versus Coca Cola or Nike versus Adidas.
In the car world, the Ford F-150 and the Tesla Cybertruck are on a similar trajectory.
For whatever reason, people love pitting these two trucks against one another.
Drag racesandtugs of warare often where the competition really gets fierce.
The Ford F-150 has had its fair share of triumphs, whether that be in sales figures or humiliating viral videos.
But would it come out on top in this experiment WhistlinDiesel had put together?
WhistlinDiesel puts the trucks through a series of extreme tests
Whether it’s destroying a Ferrari F8 Tributo or wrecking a fire truck, Cody Detwiler – the host of WhistlinDiesel – has a knack for headline grabbing stunts.
But this time around, there wouldn’t be any flames… or would there?
He wanted to put a Cybertruck up against a Ford F-150 in a series of extreme tests.

First was off-roading in Utah, which ended badly for the Cybertruck, as it lost its rear towing module.
Meanwhile, the F-150 survived intensive trail runs with a flat tire and taking heavy damage to the wiring harness.
Given that WhistlinDiesel had shelled out $53,000 in repair bills on the Cybertruck, it’s no wonder that it was proving to be a little fragile.

In fact, Tesla once declared it a ‘total loss’ and refused to work on it, due to a frame dent that threatened the battery pack.
Detwiler and his team decided to work on it themselves after that point.
At any rate, they weren’t going to take it easy on the trucks.
Their next experiment saw them dropping 3,000 pound concrete bollards onto the beds of both trucks.

While the Cybertruck handled it relatively well, the force compromised the high-voltage battery coolant lines.
Which truck came out looking worse for wear?
Now it was time for the final test.
Rigging the Cybertruck so it could be driven with a remote control, they launched it into the side of the stationary F-150 at 111mph.
“There’s like a team of 30 firefighters ready. Hopefully, I can aim it right,” Detwiler joked.

On the other end of the collision, the Cybertruck remained fairly intact, with damage mostly wrought to its suspension and wheel spokes.
The F-150 on the other hand, was a total wreck. Its frame had been totally obliterated.
Right on cue, the whole thing went up in flames upon collision.

Well, it wouldn’t be a WhistlinDiesel video without some fire.
“The F-150 is like evaporated. I told you,” he said.
“I said it’s gone. The cab is off the chassis. It’s gone.”
But despite holding out better in the final test, the Cybertruck still hadn’t done enough to win over Detwiler.

“If I were to say my actual opinions on the Cybertruck, I think it’s more of a car… It feels like a beefy Model 3. It doesn’t really do truck things,” he said.
“The more durable truck was the F-150. It is the winner of the durability test. [The Cybertruck] went to the shop six or seven times. The F-150 did not go to the shop one time.”
