Kings of Leon are back to announceO My Beloved, their 10th studio album, out on November 6th. They’ve also shared the album’s first single, “My Whole World.”
O My Beloved marks Kings of Leon’s first self-produced album and follows 2024’sCan We Please Have Fun. It finds the Followill quartet harkening back to the intimate, unguarded sound of their earlier work and drawing on themes of gratitude, family, and the lives they’ve built together.
“We have already surpassed anything we ever imagined we could do, and we’ve built something that is so special. I thought, wouldn’t it be beautiful to make an album that is looking back on all of the things that we’ve done and appreciating how we got here,” said vocalist Caleb Followill in a statement. “In the songs, there’s our families, stories from our childhood, things that maybe didn’t seem that significant at the time, but the way they find their way into these songs kind of lets me realize how impactful they really were in my life.”

“My Whole World” demonstrates the more intimate, pared-down direction found inO My Beloved. Guided by an acoustic guitar and a modest trot, the song begins with a melancholy aura but folds into a sweetly sung ode to the people in their lives. “I’m grateful today for my whole world/ That sweet peace of mind,” Caleb sings in the chorus over a country-esque arrangement. It’s a track for a Sunday morning, with an easy groove and an earnest glow. Stream “My Whole World” below.

Since releasing their last albumCan We Please Have Fun, Kings of Leon have played shows and collaborated with Zach Bryan (guesting on his 2025 song “Bowery”) and surprise-released a new EP titled #2.
