A popular 2026 Batman game has finally released for the Nintendo Switch 2. Originally released earlier this year, the title is developed by Traveller’s Tales and published by Warner Bros. Games.
LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is now available to buy for Switch 2. It originally came out in May for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
A newly revealed launch trailer for Switch 2 teases what Nintendo gamers can expect from the action-packed and critically acclaimed title. It currently holds a spectacular Top Critic Average score of 84 out of 100 on OpenCritic.
What to know about LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight on Nintendo Switch 2
LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is an open-world action-adventure game that follows Bruce Wayne’s journey to become the hero of Gotham City. The title takes inspiration from Batman films, TV shows, comic books, and games.
On Switch 2, players can have the flexibility to experience Legacy of the Dark Knight either docked in TV mode or on-the-go in handheld or tabletop mode.
Players who buy the Deluxe Edition can get exclusive in-game content. They get the access to the Mayhem Collection DLC, including The Joker and Harley Quinn as playable characters.
As Joker and Harley, they can break out of Arkham Asylum in a new story mission and cause chaos across Gotham City in the new Mayhem Mode. Players also get the Sinister Pack of DC Super-Villain themed outfits, Batcave items, and a vehicle.
The Deluxe Edition also grants access to the Legacy Collection DLC, including new suits, vehicles, and Batcave items themed after the Batman: Arkham videogame franchise, the Batman Beyond TV series, and a party music themed pack.
Additionally, owners of both Standard and Deluxe Editions can now jump into a newly added enhanced Absolute difficulty level through a free update. This new setting is more challenging than the Caped Crusader and Dark Knight modes, requiring players to have greater skill, awareness, and precision in combat.
