Moon People
Deadline reports Jena Malone, Dermot Mulroney, Mekhi Phifer, and Vannessa Vasquez are attached to star in Moon People, a sci-fi film about an expedition to the Moon from director Stanley Yung. Based on a script by Niko Foster, the story follows “a team of astronauts who travel to the Moon to confirm the discovery of water, but they soon encounter unexpected danger and struggle to survive. Malone plays Dr. Jennifer Foster while Mulroney will portray Sam Foster. Phifer is Cape Josh Briley and Vasquez is Dr. Diana Alvarez.”
Hollow
Deadline reports Belmont Cameli (Until Dawn) has been cast as Brom Bones in Hollow, the upcoming film from director Lindsey Anderson Beer reimagining The Legend of Sleepy Hollow as a sexy, supernatural love triangle. He stars alongside Sydney Sweeney as Katrina Van Tassel.
Untitled Lesbian Vampire Project
Speaking with Hits Radio, Riverdale‘s Lili Reinhart revealed she’s actively campaigning to adapt an undisclosed novella “about lesbian vampires” but can’t find a studio willing to produce it.
People are too afraid to make that. So, if you work at a studio and are watching this video, I don’t know why you wouldn’t make that in this day and age. That’s what I’m trying to do.
The Batman, Part II
During a recent interview with LADBible, Robert Pattinson admitted it would be “interesting” to have his incarnation of Batman cross over into the wider DCU, but believes “it would be kind of tough to have this version of Bruce outside of that world.”

Crystal Lake
During a recent interview with Deadline, Crystal Lake showrunner Brad Caleb Kane confirmed the series gives “certain explanations” about the nature of Jason Voorhees “grounded in things that were going on in the ’60s and ’70s that sort of intersect with the theme of mistrusting our institutions.”
Listen, it’s hard for me to look at the theories that are bandied about, like, ‘There’s a strange yellow door. Are they making Jason a government super soldier? Is that the route they’re going down?’. And I just want to tell people that my wife said, ‘Don’t engage yet. Just let them have their theories and do their thing.’ But I don’t want people watching, thinking that we’re doing some sort of Stranger Things, Eleven, government super soldier. It’s not that, it’s its own thing.
It’s grounded in more reality. It’s grounded in things that were going on in the ’60s and ’70s that sort of intersect with the theme of mistrusting our institutions. I don’t want to say too much more because I don’t want to get into spoiler territory, but I didn’t want people to think that we’re doing Stranger Things. This exists in the world of Friday the 13th, it’s grounded.
