PlayStation Size болон CharlieIntel-ийн мэдээлснээр, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 нь тусдаа бие даасан тоглоом байхын оронд Call of Duty аппликейшний нэг хэсэг болон гарах нь тодорхой боллоо.
Call of Duty fans are frustrated following confirmation that Modern Warfare 4 brings the return of an irritating feature.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 will be available as an update to the Call of Duty app as opposed to its own thing.

Үүнээс гадна, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 нь Call of Duty аппликейшний нэг хэсэг болж байгаа тул PS5 дээр Platinum trophy авах боломжгүй болжээ.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare

Call of Duty fans are frustrated following confirmation that Modern Warfare 4 brings the return of an irritating feature.
Although Grand Theft Auto VI might take the cake this year, Call of Duty is often the best-selling video game of each year thanks to its immense popularity and availability across each platform.
However, despite the high sales, fans have consistently complained about certain aspects that seem to continue creeping their way into every new release, and it looks like Modern Warfare 4 is going to be no different.
As reported by PlayStation Size on X (via CharlieIntel), Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 will be available as an update to the Call of Duty app as opposed to its own thing.
The Call of Duty app is essentially a hub for all Call of Duty games released since the original Modern Warfare in 2019. Players who own multiple games in the franchise can access and switch between them from the app, provided they have the games installed on their PC or console.
Although the app is useful for players who want to quickly switch between multiple Call of Duty games on the fly, a majority of the players actually find it more of a hindrance than anything else.
For starters, it means that the app is an absolutely huge download for players, with around 300GB allocated to include Black Ops 6, Black Ops 7, and Warzone. You can uncheck what you don’t want to have installed, but the initial download is always so large.
This also extends to updates, which balloon up in size whenever a new patch is released. Back when I had Call of Duty installed on my Xbox, I remember getting 30 GB updates every week or so following a new season.

This also means Modern Warfare 4 won’t have a platinum trophy
As CharlieIntel also pointed out, the fact that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is coming to the Call of Duty app means that it’ll also not have a platinum trophy on PS5, as previous entries did.
This is due to a rule by PlayStation that PS5 games with multiple trophy lists cannot have more than one platinum trophy, which is why certain game collections such as Tomb Raider I-III Remastered has three platinum trophies on PS4, but none on PS5.
My guess is this is to avoid shovelware games releasing free DLC for their games with new platinum trophies, allowing players to inflate their trophy level even further beyond what they already have.
“I was on the fence…but now I’m skipping MW4. It’s glorified dlc again…” wrote one person in the replies.
“One day the cod app will no longer exist, and on that day the world will be united,” another comment on X reads.
“Those players from MWII 2022 era are long gone. Get rid of COD HQ if they can’t make these games have their own trophy list. I’m not sure why they’re continuing with this. All it shows is a lower player count for the new games because they’re all connected to MWII’s database,” a third comment reads.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 will be released on October 23, 2026 for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch 2, with early access to the campaign beginning on October 16, 2026.
