Curry Barker‘s Obsession has topped the streaming chart upon its massive success worldwide. The indie-horror flick took the first spot on a streaming platform, beating one of Disney‘s biggest movies this year.

Obsession stands #1 on the Fandango home and on-demand streaming service for the week of June 29 – July 5. The movie was directed by Barker on a modest budget of $75 million. It became a global hit during its ongoing theatrical run and has earned up to $403 million so far. The movie is one of the biggest blockbusters of 2026.
Another big blockbuster of the year is Disney’s The Devil Wears Prada 2. This movie is a sequel to the first film, which came out in 2006. It was produced on a huge budget of $100 million and grossed $678 million worldwide.
Both Obsession and The Devil Wears Prada 2 made a digital debut on Fandango on June 30. However, the latter movie stands at the #2 spot on Fandango. Additionally, The Devil Wears Prada 2 – Movie Collection (Bundle), which contains parts 1 and 2 of the franchise, stands at #7. Following the sequel of the Disney movie, Antoine Faqua’s Michael biopic has taken up the #3 spot for the week.
Obsession first hit theaters on May 15, 2026, with the story of Bear, who breaks a “One Wish Willow” to make his crush, Nikki, fall in love with him. Apart from getting exactly what he wished for, he also gets something dark and sinister hidden within his crush. Also written by Barker, it features Michael Johnston, Inde Navarrette, Cooper Tomlinson, Megan Lawless, and Andy Richter.
The sequel to David Frankel’s The Devil Wears Prada reunites Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci in the fashion world where digital publishing has taken over traditional magazine publishing.
Other movies in Fandango’s home top ten titles include Project Hail Mary at #4, The Super Mario Galaxy Movie at #5, Mortal Kombat II at #6, Citizen Vigilante at #8, The Get Out at #9, and Send Help at #10 for the week.
