These men had quite the challenge on their hands when they bought the ‘worst car on Facebook Marketplace’ for $3,793.
There are plenty of cars doing the rounds on Marketplace, varying in quality wildly.
So for a car to be deemed the worst, you have to imagine it’s particularly gnarly.
And you might even think it’s a gross understatement once you see what these guys discovered inside the trunk.
The car deemed the ‘worst on Facebook Marketplace’
Facebook Marketplace is like the Wild West when it comes to cars.
Or to use another metaphor, it’s Russian Roulette – you never know what you’re going to end up with.
If you’re lucky like this California couple, you could get your hands on a vintage BMW that quickly becomes your dream car.
But things don’t pan out that way for everyone,as was the case for the man who bought a Ferrari V8 for $670.
Ultimately, it is a game of chance and you’ve got to be willing to part with several hundreds – or thousands – of dollars.
You’ll either profit or tank.
Would that be the case for these YouTubers investing in a used 1970s Cadillac Coupe de Ville?

Was the ‘worst car on Facebook Marketplace’ really that bad?
Edwin Evans and Will Chandler, from theTop Dead CenterYouTube channel, were the pair who picked up this risky car.
They’d paid $3,800 for it, but it probably wasn’t even worth that.
The two YouTubers were British so this American icon had to be imported over to them.

It didn’t look like much of an icon its current state unfortunately, with the hood encrusted in rust.
Rust was aplenty on other surfaces throughout the car, from the doors to the floors and the brakes weren’t in great shape.
When they took the Cadillac to a mechanic, he said: “I have never done a car so rusty. I particularly like the fact that when you slam the door bits of the interior fall out.
“The brakes don’t work, there’s holes everywhere – it makes weird noises when you turn the ignition on.”
But that’s nothing compared to what was inside the trunk.
What was inside the trunk of the car?
At first, it didn’t appear that anything too troubling was lurking inside the car’s trunk, beside some spare parts, a spare tire, and some brake fluid.
But they came across a bloody bag covered in dust.
It sounds like the set-up of some sort of thriller, doesn’t it?
Fortunately, there was no need to call the cops as this was almost certainly leaking brake fluid.
As brake fluid ages, it turns into a reddish-brown color.
There’s a mystery solved.
Still, this car still needed a whole load of work. There’s no mystery around that aspect.
In subsequent videos, they would continue working on the car to mixed results.
