Nate Diaz is seemingly down to welcome Jake Paul to the cage.
In May, Diaz and Paul joined forces as the former UFC star was a big part of Most Valuable Promotion’s first MMA event.
The success of this event has led to the promotion committing to the sport by merging with PFL at the start of next year.
Following this announcement, Paul named Diaz as the opponent he wants to fight in his MMA debut now that he could fight on his own show.

Nate Diaz lets Jake Paul know that he’s not trying to avoid their MMA rematch
Jake Paul’s talks with Royce Gracie seemingly show that he’s serious about making the move to MMA in the near future.
This would certainly draw a lot of attention to MVP MMA, especially if his debut saw him face Nate Diaz for a second time.
The two men previously met in boxing, where Paul got his hand raised via a unanimous decision following ten rounds at the American Airlines Center in 2023.
Diaz recently reposted the video that his former opponent put out where he called the former UFC star out and claimed that he’s been ducking him.
The fan favorite shared a brief response which made it clear that he’s not trying to avoid the prospect of facing ‘The Problem Child’ for a second time.
“Pull the f— up,” Diaz wrote on X, tagging Paul in his reaction to the video.
Nate Diaz missed out on the fight he was calling for next
Nate Diaz competed in MMA for the first time in four years as part of MVP’s debut MMA event on Netflix earlier this year.
After being stopped before the third round, Diaz made it clear he wanted a rematch with Mike Perry.
Because the fight was relatively one-sided for as long as it lasted, it may have been difficult to promote a rematch despite the names involved.
We already know that ‘Platinum’ has made the decision to go in a different direction for the time being, with Perry facing Dillon Danis on August 29.
