Tom Hardy faces new foes and navigates internal chaos that could bring down the Harrigans’ criminal empire in MobLand Season 2. Paramount+ has released the official trailer for the show ahead of its premiere. Hardy will reprise his role as Harry Da Souza, the Harrigans’ loyal fixer.
The official synopsis reads, “The Harrigans struggle to show a unified front as rising rivals threaten their criminal empire. Harry Da Souza, their street-smart and formidable ‘fixer’, must walk a dangerous tightrope when tensions within the family intensify. As violence spills into every corner of their lives, loyalties snap, safety proves temporary and the battle for power leaves no room for mercy.”

What happens in the MobLand Season 2 trailer?
The trailer opens with a warning from Hardy’s character, Harry, stating, “This family is in a death spiral.” Speaking plainly as Conrad Harrigan’s loyal fixer, he warns that they are “surrounded by sharks,” hinting at the internal family conflicts that will arise in the new season.
The cartel enforcer, Kat McAllister, is out to get them. In the new season, Harry will face a new rival known as the ‘Beast.’Throughout the trailer, high-octane shots of chainsaws, machine guns and explosions build toward chaos as the Harrigans prepare for The War, which is both civil and external.
Alongside Hardy, the Golden Globe nominee Pierce Brosnan and Academy Award winner Helen Mirren will also reprise their respective roles as Conrad and Maeve Harrigan.
The ensemble also includes Paddy Considine, Joanne Froggatt, Lara Pulver, Anson Boon, Mandeep Dhillon, Jasmine Jobson, Teddie Allen, Emmett J. Scanlan, Johnny Flynn, Ophelia Lovibond, Janet McTeer, and Toby Jones.
MobLand Season 2 is executive produced by Hardy, David C. Glasser, Guy Ritchie, Jez Butterworth, Ivan Atkinson, Dean Baker, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari, and Keith Cox.
Season 2 will premiere globally on Paramount+ on Friday, September 18. The 10-episode season will release weekly, with new episodes arriving every Friday. The season finale will arrive on Friday, November 20.
