The Yellowstone spin-off Dutton Ranch, arrived on digital channels with new content. The first season of the drama series was released on digital on August 19, 2026. The first season of the show premiered on Paramount+ on May 15, 2026.
Directed by Christina Alexandra Voros, Dutton Ranch is a sequel to Yellowstone. The narrative follows Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler as they start a new life in Texas. The August 19 digital release will also include a special feature for fans titled A New Beginning: Inside Dutton Ranch.
The behind-the-scenes featurette will offer viewers a closer look at how the series was made. It will feature director Christina Alexandra Voros, on-set footage, interviews with cast members, and photos from the set.
Greg Yaitanes, Jessica Lowrey, and Phil Abraham joined Voros to direct the first season of Dutton Ranch. The 9-episode series earned 89% on Tomatometer and 85% on Popcornmeter, per Rotten Tomatoes.
Dutton Ranch brings Beth and Rip to Texas in the Yellowstone spin-off
The spin-off series for Yellowstone is produced by Paramount Television alongside 101 studios which has also produced Yellowstone. In Dutton Ranch, Dutton and Wheeler move to Texas and fight to manage a 7000-acre ranch. Kelly Reilly plays the role of Beth Dutton, and Rip Wheeler is portrayed by Cole Hauser. The cast also features Finn Little, Juan Pablo Raba, Jai Courtney, J.R. Villarreal, Marc Menchaca, Natalie Alyn Lind, and Ed Harris and Annette Bening.
The synopsis of the series reads, “Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser return as the indomitable Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler in DUTTON RANCH, and this time, they’re taking on Texas. Hauser and Reilly are joined in the new original series by Academy Award® nominees Ed Harris and Annette Bening.”
The logline further states, “As Beth and Rip fight to build a future together – far from the ghosts of Montana – they collide with brutal new realities and a ruthless rival ranch that will stop at nothing to protect its empire. In South Texas, blood runs deeper, forgiveness is fleeting, and the cost of survival might just be your soul.”
According to reports from Collider, Dutton Ranch has been renewed for a second season by Paramount. However, it has not yet been announced when the next season will be available for streaming.
