Cadillac has debuted a V-ONE concept car inspired by its Le Mans racer.
Capable of 830hp, the car is decked out in a stunning day-to-night coloring.
Described as the ‘ultimate manifestation of a customer performance concept’, the V-ONE got its moment to shine at Monterey Car Week.
And the Supercar Blondie team was there to get a closer look.

Monterey Car Week has come and gone, with another spectacular lineup of cars.
From the $4 million Koenigsegg CCGT1 to 1-of-150 Aston Martin Valen, and the$2 million Czinger 21C Spyder, there’s been a lot tot take in for the Supercar Blondie team.
Joining those ranks is the Cadillac V-ONE concept car.
Taking a closer look at the Cadillac V-ONE concept
The V-ONE is co-developed by Cadillac Design, Cadillac Racing and chassis constructor Dallara to deliver ‘factory-level prototype performance and technology’.
At the heart of this car is a V8 hybrid powertrain, sharing foundations with the Cadillac V-Series.R race car.
Beyond the engine, the concept shares architectural touches like suspension, transmission, and select electronics.
On the outside too, this car remains faithful to the V-Series.R, while also incorporating refined details.
The hand-sprayed paint gradient represents a day-to-night transition, as it fades from silver to deep navy.
It’s a stunning car, there’s no denying that.
But it’s the cockpit that’s the real knockout here.
Taking a look at the car’s incredible cockpit
The steering wheel inside this car was an instant eye-catcher.
Chloe, the presenter taking a look at the car, noticed this straight away.
“It looks like an Xbox controller,” she said.
“There’s also a flicky switch over that, that is brake bias. This cockpit is racing style-inspired.”
What is brake bias? It’s when braking force is split between a car’s front and rear wheels.
Bias towards the front makes the car more stable, while bias towards the rear assists in turning.
On one of the doors is a plaque that reads ‘Hand-built in Detroit’.
“Something about that feels so official,” Chloe commented.
As if that wasn’t cool enough, the V-ONE also had a custom painted helmet which matched the car.
The car was on display on The Quail on August 14, and all we can say is that everyone who got to see it on the day was extremely lucky.
